Easiest sound option I've ever used!
So the connection point on my sound card developed a short causing massive feedback through my speakers. I have a huge tower system and was not looking forward to digging into the case to swap in a new sound card. Then I ran across little little device and decided, for the price, to give it a try. Wow am I glad I did! Plugged it into an open USB port, plugged my speaker connector in and BOOM! Awesome sound! I have a 3 speaker system, left - right - sub woofer. This could not be easier and just simply worked right out of the box. No regrets and would recommend to anyone looking for a sound option not involving opening anything up! Simply awesome!

the volume control is analog, not USB
This is a cute little external sound device, with lots of handy features, but it turned out to not be exactly what I was looking for. I was originally shopping for a USB volume knob, but this caught my eye, since it had 3 USB ports, a microphone input, and a pause button. But the fly in the ointment is that the volume knob only controls the headphone-out volume, not the total system audio volume. Also, the volume knob is so stiff and that it is hard to turn with one hand. So I'll be shopping for another device that more closely meets my desires.

Very nice sound card! Plug and Play works on pretty much everything.
I had a computer setup that the on board audio failed and it had no sound. I bought this to try and get sound and it works great! I eventually got a KVM switch for multiple computers and I ended up just hooking this up to the KVM switch and that ended up making things so much nicer now in my desktop setup. My laptop has a single combined 3.5 mm jack and it's messed up and doesn't work, so this USB sound card fixes that issue also. I ended up loving this sound card more than I thought I would. lol

Great for audio changing.
The knob and buttons makes us effortless to change the volume and other functions.

Works great in Linux - just plug and play
I plugged this sound card into my computer using Lubuntu/Ubuntu 18.10 (Linux Kernel v4.18.0) and the sound card was automatically recognized. The only thing I had to do was set the device as the default sound device (i.e. right-click on the Mixer in the tray). I haven't tried any of the buttons but the volume knob works well. When typing "lsusb" from a command prompt, this device shows up as "ID 0c76:1695 JMTek, LLC."

Very Good for the Price
Quite a decent little device. It's basically just as advertised, but for this price, don't expect something sturdy or super high-quality. The USB ports are all USB 2, not 3. This is fine for my purposes as I just put my mouse and controller dongles in there. The volume knob doesn't seem to be digital, which is actually kinda nice. Basically, the blue lights that indicate the volume level are just blocked off as you turn it down and revealed as you turn it up. Classic method really. The fact that it offers a headset plug was three main reason I wanted this. My laptop headset plug doesn't seem to recognize the mic on mine.Overall? Quite good for the price. Just don't expect amazing sound quality out of a sub-$20 device.

Longevity Questionable, otherwise I was happy with it.
I have been using this product for about a year now, and overall, I would say I like it, however it seems to have some longevity issues.I purchased this for a couple reasons:1) I wanted to have a good way to plug headphones into my computer. The computer I was using this on was a desktop computer, and if I wanted to use wired headphones, I would have to try plugging it into the tower... which wasn’t in a spot where that would be feasible. This brought a headphone jack, and volume control within easy reach.2) I just so happened to have 3 dongles (one keyboard, one mouse, and one wireless headset) that I needed to plug in. Yes, there would have been enough ports on the computer, but this was a work computer, and all three dongles were my personal property... so I just felt better being able to keep track of all three together. With all that being said, it worked great! Until it didn’t... recently, one of the USB ports stopped working... so I was forced to move one of the dongles to plug directly into the computer. Additionally, the company name (Phoinikas) which had a fancy light behind it, now flickers on and off (NOT that this is important to the function of the product... but it shows that there are obviously some quality issues, given that multiple things are not working correctly.) I honestly haven’t checked out the headphones in a while (because with COVID, I have been working from home... so I can play my audio as loud as I would like, and haven’t had a need for headphones) but I don’t have a lot of hope that they will continue working for the foreseeable future...Overall, I was happy with this, but given that it has failed so quickly, I would probably recommend trying a different one. (Not that any others will be better... but I wouldn’t want to end up in the same situation another year down the road...)
