The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series (PS4)

One of the best story games out there as it’s so captivating, the graphics have a classic feel to them and are still better then most games that come out this year.

Clementine, the star of this series, is one of my favourite fictional characters of all time. This isn't just limited to gaming, I'm talking right across the board no matter the medium. Her story alone makes me regret not purchasing this the day it came out at full price just to show my support. I feel like a lot of games aren't worth the prices they ask for initially. Sometimes though, we have games like this that I feel really need our support if we want more like it. The problem with these types of games, and Life is Strange would be another example, is that these aren't 'games' in the usual sense. There's no online multiplayer where you say slay a bunch of zombies with a machine gun. There's no huge open world with a ton of activities to get lost in. This is a visual narrative that you play along with. It's tight, and areas to explore are small. The whole pull of a game like this is the characters and the story. If the story doesn't appeal to you and you don't warm to the characters, you won't like it. And I think this accounts for a lot of the more negative reviews around on various sites. I say Clementine is one of the best characters ever, and I would love her story to continue despite the last season being called 'The Final Season' and ending actually in an amazing way. However, I've read posts from people who think the opposite and would have preferred that the series move away from Clementine. I cannot understand that, but then I guess they don't understand it from my perspective either. A shooter though that's about as deep as a puddle emotionally with paper characters but great graphics and gun play, well, I'll play those. The people who don't like Clementine probably also play those. They're just a lot more commercial. And that's a shame really as a game like this deserves so much more than it is ever going to get. This makes it extra important for people that do like things like this to support it. At the end of the game, there's a message that says 'Thank you for playing'. No, thank you for making the game.

If you like interactive movie like games then you’ll really enjoy this Complete Edition of The Walking Dead. You play as a young girl called Clementine and your in a Zombie apocalyptic world, alone. Soon after the game starts, you meet a man called Lee and he takes Clementine under his wing and acts like a father figure and is willing to protect her, even if it means losing his life. I’m not going to mention any of the story as it’s best to not have any spoilers when playing but what I will say, is that it’s an emotional rollercoaster and I cried a bit on 2 parts of this game. No game has ever made me cry and I think this is mainly due to the fact that most games don’t have anything to upset you but The Walking Dead is different. It’s just like watching a gripping tv series and you will go through just about every emotion, possible. If you like a great story then this will pull you in till the very end. I’ve played most of the series, previously, but I have not played the final season and as I see this Complete Edition available I jumped at the chance to own it and I will be starting the whole game from series 1. I only gave this game a chance, because season 1 was included with the monthly games via PlayStation Plus. I loved it so much that I proceeded to buy season 2 & 3 in the ps store Sale and I’m so glad I gave it a chance because I love the walking dead so much. Another plus was that I’ve never played any of these interactive movie, tv series type game before playing this, and since then I’ve gone on to play just about every other TellTale game I can find and they’ve all been great. I was quite impressed with these game. the first one is a masterpiece 2 and 3 drag a bit but 4 was a great conclusion. The actual game and disc was in great condition. I have been playing telltale games all my life and these are one I haven’t I regret waiting so long. Played on PS4 Slim. Great game with a gripping story. The story changes depending on your choices. It's fun to discuss the differences your friends experienced and great that there's a summary of your decisions for each epsiode. All four seasons are on the disk, plus a three episode Michonne spin-off and an extra side story episode called 400 days of summer at the end of season one. Each season consists of five episodes except the final which has four. Epsiode duration ranges from an hour to over two hours if you like to be extra thorough. There's extra content such as concept art. The character viewer is nice, but slow to load models. For trophy hunters, it's easy to get your platinum trophy as you just have to play through all the games episodes. Well worth the price.

The game case is european, NOT UK, it’s falsely advertised as only having english writing and i presumed that since the company selling was a UK company it’d be the english version, very sketchy vibes. The languages are in spanish and italian. This may affect dlc, i will test and confirm. Otherwise the game itself works fine and is an incredible story telling masterpiece even if it was originally made about a decade ago, showing very dark and emotionally provoking scenes.

The game is awesome there is nothing to be given such as review on this game this is just a fine experience which will take you into another world but when I bought the game & unbox my physical copy the Blu-ray was out of its case holder laying here & there thank God there were no scratches this is first time something happened with me when I've buyed a physical dics from Amazon try to be caredul from Next time.

Harkins back to the old police quest, King's, quest, etc. Games on commodore. Sort of like somebody made an old choose your own adventure book into a video game and it's about The Walking Dead. The characters the situations the need to make snap decisions.... It's all very tense which makes for an excellent gaming experience. bought it just to do something different and man was I not disappointed at all. As a matter of fact, after he briefed detour to play dying, light and dying light too, I will be going back and looking for anything that telltale games has made in this similar style. And definitely check them out.

Gioco bellissimo, per il prezzo che ha è top. Ha uno stile di grafica a fumetto e questo è quello che lo rende speciale, trama bellissima con più storie da giocare, devi prendere decisioni e ciò influisce sullo svolgimento della trama e sui rapporti con i personaggi. Una sorpresa!

このゲームシリーズの中にコレクションというタイトルの帽子のジャケットのパッケージがあるけど、 それは 最後のファイナルシーズンが入っていないのでそちらは買わない方がいいです。 自分はまだはじめたばかりで国内版であったストーリー連携が出来るかは分からないです。終わってなんか連携されてると感じたらまたレビューをしようかなと思います。 とりあえず全部入っているやつを買いたいならこのジャケットを買ってください。 その際英語表記、音声も英語で日本語は全く選べないので時々来る大事な選択場面(誰を助けて誰を助けないなど) 英語分からないと思ったような事ならない可能性もあるので注意してください。 どのみちニューフロンティアやファイナルはローカライズされていないのでクレメンタインがどう成長したいか観たいならこれを買うと良いです。 今でも単品で買うと割高になりますので。

Je suis plutôt adepte des jeux plus « dynamiques »: Last of Us, GTA, RDR, Uncharted… Je suis une grande fan de la série Walking Dead et au vu des commentaires, je me suis dit que je ne pouvais pas passer à côté de ce jeu. Côté synopsis/histoire: le jeu est parfait, l’histoire est très très bien écrite, les choix ne sont pas faciles, tout est très prenant. Beaucoup d’émotion, de suspens et de rebondissements. Un grand plus: l’histoire n’est pas du tout prévisible et change vraiment selon les choix que l’on sélectionne. Côté gameplay et pour moi le point négatif du jeu: chaque action se fait en sélectionnant une touche. Ce n’est pas le joueur lui même qui fait l’action. Par exemple: le personnage principal doit rattraper un ami pour qu’il ne tombe pas d’une falaise; l’écran va vous montrer qu’il faut cliquer sur « Triangle ». Vous cliquez sur « Triangle » une fois, et c’est tout: le personnage va lui même faire toutes les actions et vous restez spectateur du jeu. Les seules actions que vous ferez seront donc de cliquer sur les différentes touches durant tout le jeu. Vous n’effectuerez donc pas les actions vous même, ce qui peut être lassant voire ennuyant. A part ce point, je recommande clairement pour ce jeu pour tous les fans de Walking Dead. Certains choix sont réellement durs à faire et c’est une série qui marque vraiment les esprits. Le format est original avec des épisodes qui composent plusieurs saisons, comme une vraie série TV. J’ai aussi apprécié le comparatif des choix par joueurs a chaque fin d’épisode.
