Elevate Water Based Concrete Stain, Semi-Transparent Concentrate Organic Concrete Colorant, for Concrete and Cement, Makes 2 Gallons (400 sq ft), Carrara White (Pack of 2)

This was the first time I purchased this product. I was careful to read and follow the instructions and did a lot of research ahead of time. When I finally used it, it did not work. I'm wondering if the product I received was bad? The instructions say to shake up the fluid in the container then add half the water and shake again. You then add the rest and shake once more. I did this, shook the heck out of it. But the colorant inside refused to combined with the water. It appeared flakey and almost black, not the brown I was looking for. But I thought maybe it will look better once applied. Again following the instruction I made sure the concrete was damp, no puddles, and applied it with a pump sprayer. It did nothing to change the color. It only made the concrete look wet , because it was. I ended up using the entire gallon on less than 50 square feet (supposed to cover 400) and It didn't change the color even a little bit. Again I'm concerned that the product I received was bad, and it seems reading the other reviews it might be the case with those as well. But as it is I cannot recommend this product.

I used this on an older patio that is partially covered. I pressure washed the concrete first, and then applied this stain and sealed it with SuperSeal 2000, and it looks great! I'll upload pictures when I get a chance. I'm very happy with the result, though. I did have to go over the color another time to get it as dark as I wanted, but it turned out really well.

I was trying not to use acid stain, so I bought this one. I applied it to an old concrete floor cut with 70 grid and 120 grid, so conditions were perfect for this stain to do it’s work. Even after applying a densifier, a diamond resin 50 grid removed the color layer completely, this stuff does not stain.

Great color! Easy to apply. Doesnt go along way though. So be sure to order enough.

It’s difficult to get the color needed to match. It’s not light enough to reach the light colored cement needed. Most cement mix out there are a bit dark.

Didn't work as well as planned

Product description was spot on across the board. Came in partially filled container, covered about 200 sq feet. Went light at first to see if I could stretch it but left it too light, so added more. At the end of it all I was surprised as it looked better then I expected after reading other reviews.

We’re very happy that we chose Elevate Concrete Stain. I love it because the directions were simple and straight forward. My wife loves the color and the final product. I would recommend this product to all contractors or DIY’ers looking for an interesting and modern finish to their floors or outdoor concrete.
