Beginning AutoCAD® 2020 Exercise Workbook

This book is phenomenal compared to other CAD learning books. The font is larger than most books making it easy to follow along with. The pictures are very detailed and its all straight to the point. This is MUST HAVE for anyone wanting to learn AutoCAD.

Great book. Easier to follow. This will teach you what you need to know to get started in Autocad.

Bought used and came in 'like new' condition. Textbook is a step by step guide to Autocad for my college course. Introductory material in black and white print. Could be a bit higher quality with some of the references (for example, you may be told once in an introductory chapter what a certain icon means, then 2 chapters later they will tell you to click that icon with no visual or page reference to what theyre talking about).Builds slowly on the material so its sufficient but this is a very basic 2D course. You'll need subsequent products for the 3D features of autocad.

Purchased for this class, seems written via translation. Not methodically or clearly explained. New words are introduced without definition stated first- assuming you already know the term. Program layout is very different in appearance on a MAC vs PC which book is written for. Apple needs to re-write this drawing program since they are the gold standard in this! Too many clicks to accomplish one action; which has to be done individually with a sequence of actions when you should just be able to redo instantly as in PS, Illustrator or any other drawing program. The hover- reveal action doesn’t always work, nor do various tools- you must redo series of actions over and over- soo over it! I thought I was looking at a DOS program when opening the sample intro they give you when you buy the book- but it was just the pc version, there was no MAC version! Apple please help these people!!!
