Purchased for son after he requested it. He’s very pleased and plays it a lot.

This game is game you will both love and hate at the same time. Its frustrating but amazing. The map is huge and the detail to quality is amazing. It's very true to life, weather impacts your health through temperature and wind etc if you bleed you have to bandage yourself, you need to take pills when your I'll which can be caused through dirty water or a cold from the rain. There is so much you can do, hunt, loot, kill zombies, build fires and forts. It's amazing but.......... you have to love it enough to stick despite its faults. The game is very glitchy you cant always access inventory slots in barrels, zombies can glitch and kill you. I've seen zombies multiply to about 50 via glitching, cars are a nightmare and often kill you. There is a lot to be fixed but I would still say overall this is a great game.

I play this game on PC and Playstation for free and it is a great post apocalyptic survival game.I recently got an Xbox Series X and this was on a really good offer so I thought great I'll have the game on all platforms. What I didn't realise was that I was required to have an Xbox Game Pass in order to play.No Pass = No Play.I guess if you already have an Xbox Pass and play lots of other games then no problem, otherwise it will cost you an additional £84 per year to play.So now I have to decide - do I pay in order to play my one game that requires a pass? or do I send it back...Thanks a bunch Microsoft!

This is excellent, it's really good for what it cost.

This has got to be one the hardest games I have ever played. It is ruthlessly difficult as there are no real explanations on what you can do with objects you find or how to craft things.Yes you can watch youtube video guides and they do help, however the game is extremely lacking in generousity with useful items. If you dont find or craft a knife quickly you are badisically doomed. Weapons like guns can be found, but dont expect the ammo to be close by. Weapons also become damaged easily. The Zombies are just plain annoying, food is difficult to find as is safe water. This might sound like it could be fun, it isnt! You spend most of your time just jogging from town to town hoping to find things. But there are also stupid things, like Apple trees only growing in towns, most of the houses having useless items in them. Yes, it is tense at times but its also so difficult that its actually a very grim experience to play. Ive tried it for two weeks, and ive given up on it.

I love how detailed and realistic the survival mechanics are. Great game.

Gli unici pro di questo gioco sono: la mappa, bella e ben curata, e un'atmosfera immersiva di tipo quasi "post-apocalittico".Purtroppo i contro sono di gran lunga più numerosi:Il gioco è noioso e ripetitivo a livelli esasperanti, è una continua "passeggiata" alla ricerca di viveri e di armi. Il problema è che quest'ultimi sono estremamente difficili da reperire; nel 90% dei server tutti gli edifici sono stati già razziati. Dopo averci giocato due giorni non sono riuscito a sparare nemmeno un colpo con un'arma da fuoco!Durante queste frustranti passeggiate può capitare di imbattersi in qualche zombie isolato, facilmente neutralizzabile con un sistema di combattimento corpo a corpo a dir poco scomodo e orribile.Incontrare altri giocatori è un evento più unico che raro, nella maggior parte dei casi anch'essi possiedono un equipaggiamento scarno quanto il nostro, si può così dar vita a delle magnifiche "guerre tra poveri" in cui i sopravvissuti moriranno pochi istanti dopo per fame o per sete.L'ottimizzazione lascia alquanto a desiderare: è un continuo susseguirsi di piccoli "freeze" e di inspiegabili cali di framerate; le modalità "PvP" sono per questo motivo ingiocabili.DayZ mi ha profondamente deluso, mi aspettavo tanto da questo titolo. Reputo che 30 euro per un gioco il cui gameplay non abbia assolutamento nessuno scopo tranne quello di camminare per ore ammirando il paesaggio, siano troppi.Questa è la prima volta che chiedo il reso per un videogioco.

Can't save your character anything that you acquired you play for 5 or 10 minutes get shot do it all over again.. straight garbage players.. one of the worst games I have ever bought.. in the trash ass players that are in the game.. just a huge waste of time.
