Didn’t work for us
I was hoping for much better results based on some of the other reviews and the price point but it was a waste for us and I returned it. It didn’t do anything for our pool except get stuck in the skimmer opening every time it floated around which kept a lot of the other debris/bugs from entering into the skimmer. I didn’t use any less chemicals and there was no noticeable difference in the amount of algae build up in the pool. Regular pool maintenance and vacuuming works best for us. (I gave it a try for a little over 2 weeks, and our pool is an 18’ round above ground pool for reference). The return process was easy though and we received no hassles/no questions asked in the processing of our return.

Pool looks better than it ever has
This is amazing! Couldn't get rid of the algae in our pool, shocked the pool and it cleared up, but still had algae on the walls. Bought this and swept the walls, put in the ionizer and hoped for the best. Next day poll was much clearer, day 2 the pool looks amazing and absolutely no algae at all in the pool. Cleaned the coil and little filler after 1 week. Wish we're had bought this sooner! Shout out to my co worker who suggested this! I never would've known n about it. My pool has never looked better!!!

works great!
For 2 years I had algae problems. They said I had nitrates and had to drain 1/2 the water and refill. Did that 2 years in a row and still had problems. I have a 20 x 40 inground so that's a lot of water. It started again this year where I'd have small algae blooms every 3 days. Bought this and WOW!! No algae since I started using this!! Highly recommend!!

Water is clear with no other chemicals except for chlorine tablets
Seems to be working. The only chemical I used in my pool so far are the chlorine tablets you put in the "floaty thing and my pool has stayed clear for weeks now. Initially my pool was set up, 2 weeks after filling it the liner was slimy feeling so that is what made me look into pool ionizer...slime gone!

One of the best surprises for your pool
Every year I seem to fight algae all around my pool I read about this and did not believe it would help much but now I have now had that unit for about two months it has done wonders for my pool I would recommend it to anybody who’s having trouble controlling algae

Big time money saver
This thing is freaking amazing I was constantly fighting algae and i had to religiously shock my pool. Now I have no issues with algae and I can keep my chlorine level at 1ppm. Totally worth it

Not a good buy. I've had several over the years and this one is probably better used in a small above ground. I repaired my old one because this one wouldn't do the job.
