Red Kapmens Speedsuit

Lightweight and cool - perfect for summer.
The short-sleeve Red Kap coveralls are perfect for my husband as he works on his truck. The length was about 4" too long, but they were easy to hem because they are a lighter weight fabric. The construction is good and the fabric is pretty durable, plus they are cool. They fit well. The only issue is that, because they are short sleeves, that it's harder to take them off because there isn't a long sleeve to pull on. Sliding the top off one shoulder and pulling on the back makes it easier. They are just what he needed.

Wash before wearing.
Material was nice. Fit well, except waist was a little long as were the legs. Had to roll them up. Material very comfortable. Washes well.

My only complaint is garment lacks access to pockets on interior clothing
This review is for the Red Kap Men's Speedsuit - a short sleeved coverall. I state this because I specifically ordered this garment because of a characteristic mentioned in a review, and this garment doesn't have that characteristic!I'm 5'8" and 200 lbs (about 42" chest), and the XL that I ordered fits well in the chest (over denim jeans and a work shirt, which will be my attire for use of this coverall). It might be a little long in the crotch, but I can stretch both arms up and not crunch anything in said crotch, so a little long might be good. They are definitely long in the inseam, bunching up around my ankles, but that doesn't bother me. The quality seems high, and the company uses heavier weight material versus the paper-thin stuff that one sometimes finds. The chest pockets seem a little small, but both the front and back pockets seem roomy enough and well-made. All-in-all I'm satisfied, even having to pay extra for this garment compared to other brands.I realize the product description of this coverall doesn't say there is access to the inside pocket of my jeans, but one reviewer specifically recommended this brand for that characteristic, and I WILL have items in my jean pockets that i will need to access when wearing these coveralls. If there's a slit in the sides for access then it's well camouflaged, and I can't find it. Perhaps knocking a star from this review is a little harsh, but every time I need to get to my pocket knife I'll be cussing this set of coveralls! If you won't be wearing these over other clothing then I think you will be satisfied, and I recommend them for you.

Good fit the big dudes.
I'm a nurse and plan to use it with a navy colored scrub top. I'm currently 317lbs. 5'10". Waist is 56 inches, chest 50 inches. I normally don't review anything but us big guys need a hand helping each other out cause you rarely see a review for how clothes fit. The belly is snug but what do you expect? I love it. Going to order 4 more. The things is, either you wear a pair of scrub pants around your expansive gut and have it fall down and pull it up all shift or you wear it beneath your gut and have your underwear or undershirt showing all the time as well as having to pulling it up. This Kim Jung Il suit solves the problem cause there is nothing to show and no belt to adjust. Yeah, I have to wear my scrub top over it making things hotter but I don't care. The hem is a little long but you really don't have to hem it provided you are close to my dimensions. Durability probably won't be an issue since I just get exposed to bodily fluids or contact or airborne diseases so I am giving it 5 stars. It is light weight and thick enough for medical work. I can't speak for heavy use like for plant engineers or mechanics. 5 stars for that too. I hope this helps.

Light weight, cool, roomy
Perfect for me to wear during the summer while piddling around in my garage / working on my cars. Light weight material, probably not durable enough if you’re a professional mechanic or maintenance person. I’m a 67 year old man, 6’2”, 235#. I ordered a XXL. The this speedsuit is plenty roomy, especially in the legs & butt area. No problem putting it on over my clothes I’m wearing. No problem getting it on over my shoulders. I usually buy 34” inseam Wrangler jeans and the legs on this are plenty long. I thought about ordering the XXL Tall but that would have been a mistake.

Terrible fit.
The coveralls did not fit. They were way too long in the length and the body part was not right. I tried having them altered; however, this made the fit even worse.

Be prepared to try a couple of sizes to see what fits you best!
OK be prepared to try a couple of sizes to figure out what fits you the best, but the cost is affordable, so it is worth it. I wear the 36x30 Carhartt overalls, for reference. First I got the Large in the light blue. They fit snug but it was hard to work in them due to some restriction in range of motion, and the color wasn't my favorite. Then I purchased the extra-large in the dark blue and am wearing them today for the first time. They are SO comfortable! I have to roll up the pants a couple of turns, but I find that stylish, ha ha....wish my wife liked the style more. I just want to wear them all the time. They feel like pajamas, ha ha..... I'm getting old and going into grandpa mode. Anybody want to go fishing?!? ha ha...goes great with a bucket hat!
