Not just the best screwdriver I've ever owned, but perhaps the best tool
I really can't say enough good things about this tool. I previously owned the SmartPro Tools SPT 3000-B Speed Driver 13 Piece Geared Screwdriver Set . Last week, I dropped it from about 2 feet onto asphalt and it shattered. I was greatly disappointed because I love the low-torque geared design (bit timesaver for long machine screws). I decided to go replace it but thankfully before I clicked order I caught a review of this Klenk competitive product. I especially noted the Popular Mechanics article which mentioned the Klenk surviving a 6 foot fall onto concrete and I decided it was worth a try.It arrived a couple of days ago and now my only question is how many I'll order. I've ordered one so far but I expect I'll have bought 5 more within a few weeks. It has all the same benefits of ratcheting and a low-torque "super ratchet" 4 to 1 geared system. But while the SmartPro requires 2 hands to change direction and sliding a latch to switch gear ratios, the Klenk has a forward/fixed/reverse switch right under my thumb. And switching to the 4:1 mode simply requires grasping the collar with your other hand, no latch like the SmartPro.I also LOVE the long bits that are accessible in the handle without unscrewing the end. Very convenient, and especially with regards to Philips it means that if you pick too small or too large a Philips bit, you've got a 50:50 chance that the right one is just on the other end of the bit you're using (they're double-headed hex bits). No disrespect to the SmartPro, I got many great years out of it and without them I wouldn't know such a tool exists. But the Klenk is SO far superior in design and usage that I'll be getting one for every toolkit/bag/car. If only they sold them in a 10-pack ;-)

Terrific tool
The Klenk Select-A-Bit Speed Driver stands out from the field of multi-bit drivers out there. It's durably made, with hardened steel heads that won't wear out for a long time. The bits are very easy to change, and the translucent plastic handle makes it simple to pick what bit you need. The best part of this little gem, though, is the ratcheting mechanism. I can drive a screw better with this than with any cordless driver I've tried. The handle is big enough to grab firmly without being too heavy, and the speed ratcheting mechanism means you can drive in a screw several times faster than any regular driver. This is an excellent tool that should have a place in every toolbox.

Definitely worth the addition to my work bag.
I am a network engineer and I have a complete separate tool bag with all my tools and gear. Unfortunately, there are many times when something unexpected comes up and I don't have my tool bag. Now I leave this screw driver in the my laptop bag. I chose it for the selection of bits (also has a PH3 bit which is good for network rack screws), ratcheting and also has the speed driver. One thing to note is the speed driver works great for loose screws. Example would be installing the rack ear on a network switch. Most other applications it won't work very well but that's where the ratcheting can come in very handy. I would have no issue recommending this product. Just need to set the expectations for the features it has. For the price and features its been worth the addition to my arsenal.

Indispensable for home maintenance
I have an older, non- ratcheting version for my home maintenance toolbox, and it is my favorite tool. The bits have lasted for decades, and it is incredibly convenient.I wish they still offered the non- ratcheting version, as it was more compact and was easy to use with one hand, but this is a high quality item.

The speed ratcheting system only works when very little torque ...
The speed ratcheting system only works when very little torque is required,ie when you could spin the driver with your fingers, however it gives moor control

Not the highest quality
I purchased the Klenk SPEED driver after trying a different brand (SpecTools Overdriver) at work. Both brands were made in USA, but the SpecTools was superior to the Klenk. Truth be told, the SpecTools is more expensive. The Klenk is OK for the money, but there are better out there.

This is a Fabulous Screwdriver!
It works beautifully and I love having just one tool with all the bits attached. No time spent going back and forth to the toolbox!

Colorful piece of junk!
This things is horrible, it is way to long and feels awkward in your hand when using it. The bits don't even stay in the driver when you attach them, they fall right off the tip! I guess the ratchet technology is good but I wouldn't know because the bits wouldn't stay in.
