This 100% Cotton White Marcella Self-Tie bow tie is traditionally worn at White Tie functions. The tie has a discrete adjusting mechanism at the back to accommodate different neck sizes from 14 - 18 The size of the bow tie is approximately 2.5 wide. Arrived very quickly. Very smart looking bow tie good for any white tie event. Comes with tying instructions ijn the box but a little practice is always necessary.

White bow - cotton conundrum
The bow was as described and sent promptly by Royal Mail Special Delivery (which the Royal Mail chose to delay an extra 24 hours). The length of the bow was more than ample (many bow-ties can only just be adjusted to my 17 1/2" collar size)so there was no problem in achieving the almost perfect result required. However, there was a sting in the tail: the washing instructions said 'dry clean only', which seems silly for something made from white cotton which should be washed after every time it is used. This item would have been perfect if made from pre-shrunk cloth and a rust-proof adjuster - which are the only reasons I can think of for washing instructions.
