DO NOT BUY!! A disgrace to the history of such a beautiful and historic plane.
Horrible quality, was not able to fit one piece into the other. After about 10 tries, I left it in a pile. Please find a quality model this is not what you're looking for.

Very cool!! 😎
A little hard to assemble BUT very cool and realistic I am a ww2 geek and this is soo cool and fun. I am very happy with it but it was kinda hard to put together BUT worth it if you buy it for a kid use adult supervision for assembly but very good and is more than I expected. :)

Good quality for a toy, but it IS a toy!
I'm not a big model builder or collector, but I enjoyed this purchase. I wouldn't be afraid to let a kid play with it. A few things to know (I bought several of these for a project, so I got experienced putting them together): the pieces are in the blister wrap TIGHT and will go flying out when you finally pry them free. Look sharp for the clear plastic part, it's hard to see! I threw my first one away without realizing it was still tightly wedged in the plastic. No glue required, but some were easier to put together than others, and a needed a metal nail file to file down some plastic parts (especially by the landing gear) to make everything fit. I also had to file the plastic on the stand to get it to fit in 1-2 of the planes. Not everything fit perfectly, and sometimes it was difficult to get things to stay together long enough to get a pin on. The directions aren't very helpful, and I put a pin in close to the tail, but put it in where the tiny back landing wheel was supposed to go and it was HELL to get it back out when I realized my mistake. Overall, fun building project to make a toy plane, and talk about the Tuskegee airman!

NOT A TRUE "MODEL" TO BUILD.
This is not a true "Model" airplane. This has about 10 or so pieces you put together, mostly with a few screws and glue a couple together. This comes already painted as well. Overall quality is ok, but if you are a person who enjoys putting models together and panting them, this will not really be for you. My mistake for not reading the complete description before purchasing.

Absolutely cheap and worthless
Read the description as you have to assemble it. Our parts were malformed and had imperfections. The cockpit canopy broke during installation following the poorly illustrated directions. It just sucks

Class Project
Despite no matter how many of the reviews tell you it’s cheap assembly this is this is an absolutely great product. It does need a couple extra screws, though the stand doesn’t work so well, but it’s still pretty good. 4th grade class project

Parts don’t fit together very well and other parts very unclear as how assembly is made. Very poor finish for a number of parts.

Every part securely placed in the box. A bit challenging to assemble but at the end looks great! Will buy this brand again.
