Munschworks 2: The Second Munsch Treasury (Munshworks)

I love RM books! When I was a preschool teacher I read them to the kids a lot & the kids always loved them! They are funny & goofy & a always a great read! Now I am a mom of 3 girls & I bought this one for Christmas for my youngest who is 3. All 3 of my girls love it & say while I read all of them! Great great books! Can't say enough good things! If you've never read them please do!!! I love that he sells a collection like this rather than only individual books & I plan to buy more!

I bought all the Munschworks. The bad thing is that they have all the same stories as the Munschworks Treasure.

These series of Munchworks books are the perfect gift for parents of preschoolers. The stories are entertaining when read to the children that they will ask you to read them everyday. Since there is more than one story in the book you can let them pick their favorite. I used to read these to my kindergarten class during snack and the kids were so entertained that they would sit quietly through the entire reading and then ask for more!!

My very favorite author! Making it my grandchildren's favorite, too! I plan to buy all the series for them. I already own all his books. They are loved because they are funny, clever, and whimsical! Robert Munsch knows how to write for kids and adults who love humor! Many even have a message they send, like "Stephanie's Ponytail"! I taught kindergarten for 30 years and love all his books! Get them all!

Parents and children will enjoy the creativity of Robert Munsch. These are the storylines of real life, such as kids needing bathrooms after fully dressed to go out, ordeals of school copycats, the trips to the grocery store with the whole family in tow. The illustrations capture the humor of childrens' points of view and misunderstandings. My adult kids adored these books as little children and we are now introducing them to the next generation. These were my favorite books to read to them and will be yours too!!

Munschworks 2: The Second Munsch Treasury (Munshworks) I chose this book as a Christmas gift for a seven year old girl. Foryears as a reading specialist, I used these stories to inspire children to find pleasure in reading. I've gone from classroom to classroomreading these stories to pre-k, kindergarten, first, second, third,fourth, and fifth grade classes. They all enjoyed these and other Robert Munsch stories. I never tire of sharing these stories with children.

You know how so many children's books are almost sickeningly sweet and so predictable? Well not this one! It was laugh out loud funny with unexpected twists in the stories... some morals but not too heavy handed. It was a joy to read over and over again with my sons... so much so that I have kept it to share with the next generation!

Very creative stories. When I caught the 18-24 month olds in at a daycare I used this book (brought to me by a parent) to increase the attention span. They would sit for 45 minutes asking for more stories and to read it again. Just add a little hand motions and voice influction and your kids won't be glued to the TV, or hitting their neighbor. They'll be having brain growing quality time with you!

Classics absolutely brilliant

The book is a fantastic collection of entertaining children's stories. My son loves when I change the names to his and his friends names so he feels like the stories are about him.

Just as enjoyable as the First Collection. I'm looking forward to hearing my grand-daughter's reaction. (These books are her Christmas present from me.)

I love this book and this is the 2nd time in my lifetime I have purchased it. Enjoyed it so much with my kids, so now bought it for my grandchild.

This collection is well-made and durable. An excellent price for the value of the binding, paper, and art.
