This is a GREAT toy to buy if you plan on Slam dunking the ball a lot or just shooting! Comes with a ball, so there is no need to purchase one it just takes a little bit to blow up, but once its up its awesome

It's very durable for an inflatable. It's made of fairly heavy weight vinyl. My oldest son and his 2 sons LOVE it! They play with it in my pool every weekend. The inflator that comes with it is too small, but I bought a better one locally, hand operated like a hand bicycle pump, that inflates on both the up and down stroke; it inflates the Hoop Shark reasonably quickly (it inflates in 4 compartments). It has a small ring on the bottom through which we have run a cord so we can anchor it with 2 milk jugs filled with water. It's IMPORTANT that the Hoop Shark be anchored so that it does not rub against anything and rub a hole. Because the Hoop Shark can drift a small amount, they have discovered that it's not as easy as they thought it would be. And still they love it. Oh, the basketball is made of basketball material (making it super durable) but is smaller in size.

First one received had a leak in seam and I tried to repair unsuccessfully. Replacement is so far, good after 1 week. Kids really enjoyed when it stayed inflated and have fun dunking basketball.

This is sturdy and fun! But be aware that it is VERY large! We have to partially deflate it to fit in the trunk or seat of the car. Would do well in the back of a pickup if you can tie it down, but beware of hot vehicle metal - it melted a hole in the toy that required patching. Also, it is very helpful to have an air pump since it requires a lot of air.

Product appears great when first inflated, however the posts do not stay inflated even overnight. Since this was given as a gift, the return window already closed. We tried to inflate and check for leaks multiple times. Would adjust the review if able to get a replacement and try again

I bought this product a year ago for the season. I ordered again due to the first one getting leak from abuse. That is our bad. However the current product is much LESS heavy duty/thick than the one I bought originally. I am disappointed by the lowering of quality of the product. It is less sturdy than a year ago which is NOT what I wanted to pay for.

This so so much fun. We got it for when we go to my parents lake. The kids love taking it out with an anchor and playing. The material and seams are well made and did not leak over multiple days. It was easy to blow up with an air compressor. When we were done we deflated it stored it away until we went back. Our children are 6 and 9 and loved it
