A set or two of needle nose or regular vice grips will be handy.
Excellent springs, good quality for the money and now I don't feel like I'm sinking into a hole in my favorite recliner.

Springs are stiff
It was not easy to get them on but after doing so the seat is much stiffer than it was before my springs broke. Maybe over time it will be more comfortable. It would be good if the spring gauge was listed on the product.

Easy to install and well made!
Used this to add a spring on my son’s loveseat recliners, and add additional ties to secure and add stability.

Tak you time. You can do this!
I added two springs to a loveseat electric recliner that had 4 springs for each seat cushion. Now I have 6 springs total in one of the seats. These came in a 25" length and I needed to cut the length of the spring to 24". Easy to do with a rotary tool with a cutoff blade. Mounted the new supports for the 2 new spring and am totally satisfied with the additional seat support. I'm 6'-4" and and weigh 230#'s. The 2 additional springs make this loveseat sofa comfortable again. The hardest part of the install was removing the chair cover upholstery staples to provide access to the springs. I had abut 3 hours work in completing one seat on the loveseat. Well worth my investment of time!

Worked for a couch rebuild
Worked great for my application had to buy 3 kits to redo a couch. Perhaps they could offer a couch kit with with 12-14 springs. My couch had 14 springs.

Better than I ever expected!
I have a sagging leather couch that is still in great shape, other than the sagging seat cushions that uses the web-strap springs for the foam seating, not wired springs. I've tried replacing the web-straps, which was quite impossible, but I did replace the foam in the cushions - though I had to cut and then somewhat re-sew some of the web-straps to get the foam into the seat - which then reduced their effectiveness. Then I just stumbled on these springs. Wow! What a difference! I did one of the seats on my couch just to see if it would work and boy, did it ever work! I was concerned that since I couldn't put the little brackets on the top side of the frame and had to locate them on the sides of the frame, that it would minimize or limit the effectiveness of the spring. Not a problem - the one seat is now solid again! It looks and feels new compared to the seats next to it that have sagging 'holes' where we've been sitting. It's actually more firm than it's ever been, which I don't mind because it's still comfortable. Easy to install - took me about an hour for 4 of the springs. A lot of the hour was me Googling to find out if it is OK to put the brackets on the side of the sofa frame (trust me - it is!). Just watch the loose end of the spring after you've screwed the first side down - when you're pressing the loose side into the opposite bracket to screw down - it's pretty strong and can pop your arm pretty good if it slips out of the bracket! All in all, a great product that solved a frustrating problem. Now, to get more of these springs to finish off the rest of the couch!
