Disappointment upon Disappointment AND THEN....This item arrived promptly and in an attractive gift box. That is where the good part ends and the disappointment begins.I put in the two AA batteries that the product requires, turned it on, and--nothing. I tried two other batteries--nothing. I wanted this product to work so badly that I actually went to the store and purchase a new package of batteries, excitedly installed them, turned it on, and still--nothing.Again, I was so determined to have this item that even though I had ordered it especially for a trip it would never make; I didn't want a refund; I wanted to exchange it for a new one.I looked for a way to directly contact the seller and guess what? You can't. Your only option is to return the item via Amazon.What a disappointingly sad state of affairs.**The seller proudly pronounces that providing outstanding customer service is their #1 priority. How can this be when one can't even contact them? They go on to state that one can order from them 24/7. It seems to me that selling you a product is their #1 priority. Servicing you once you have receive that product is not even on their hit list.**After I sent the product back for a refund, I received an apologetic response from the seller who very graciously offered to send me another SonicDerm free of change so I changed my initial one star rating to three stars reflecting the seller's response not the product itself as I have yet to try it again.I hope that I can rewrite this review entirely and raise the rating even higher according to the product's performance.GOOD, BETTER, BESTGood: As promised, I received a replacement SonicDerm along with an extra set of brush heads.Better: When I placed two batteries in and turned it on, it purred like a kitten.Best: A "Thank you for Purchase" card was included in the box, which offers a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee return policy and an e-mail address to access should one have a problem with the product.I've used this brush system for about a week now and couldn't be more pleased with the results thus far.On a personal note: My skin is very fair and sensitive and suffers from the harsher brushes and rotary movement of other name brand cleansing systems that I have tried. This set includes a softer brush head for sensitive skin and its gentle vibratory motion does not tear at the skin's surface.The set includes four brush heads:A regular cleaning brush for normal skinA softer cleaning brush for sensitive skinA sponge attachment for applying moisturizes etc after cleaning.A three "fingertips" attachment called the "wrinkle eraser." I'm not quite sure yet how this works.My conclusion: If you're wavering about this purchase, try it. With a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee and an e-mail address to contact should there be any problems, what do you have to lose?

First sonic derm has another brush, they are easy to mix up, so make sure you have the right one. Secondly this one sonic derm sd-102-... Does not spin but vibrates. The seal,for the batteries, is not good at all. If I held it the wrong way it would shut off, and after two weeks, I'm guessing because of the seal, it does not work at all. The bristles and other attachments are great. Some you need to use with the vibration so other then a bristle attachment the others are useless. The spin brush was great, I just ordered the wrong attachment and figured I give this one a try since I had extra attachments.

This item lasted exactly one day after its return date and died. The unit had water egress and I am pretty sure it is because of this weak O-ring used to seal the battery compartment.There is no way this will prevent even moisture from entering.This unit was never submerged in water but did experience minor water splash from the shower, and it was never submerged.My suggestion is, if you decide to buy one of these, change that O-ring out before getting it near water. Some silicone grease around the ring wouldn’t hurt either.Thanks SonicCare, I’m going with a brand that is rechargeable and doesn’t need to be opened.

I have been an avid Clarisonic user for years. Suddenly it stopped working. I decided to buy this item and I have been very pleased! It seems to clean my face as well as the Clarisonic did. Can't be the price. So if you have been wanting a Clarisonic, get this you will not be disappointed.

This brush is truly well made for the money and works as well if not better than pricey brushes of this genera . It quickly removes dead skin cells without tearing or over working skin and making it oily to recover when used as directed with a proper gentle cleansing product.As a suffer of eczema, brushes like this can do a lot of good in keeping skin clean and clear before adding moisturizing products such as Marula oil or Argan, and/or using various MSM/stearic acid laced creams which help keep this condition under control.One of the things I like about using a sonic brush over a wash cloth is the way it feels while using it. The sensation of the brush vibrating feels as if it's opening pores and removing oily deposits and grime which get caught up in them. Afterward skin feels smooth and silky. I found this brush has a strong motor and length of bristles just right and not so long that they are rendered ineffective, nor so short they dig in and hurt or cause harm. The brushes are interchangeable and replaceable, easy to purchase which is another good thing about this brand. Others I've purchased I could not say this for. There are three brushes for this you can buy as a set, normal, gentle, and moisturizing sponge. I use the sensitive skin brush with the blue ring only so far, but wouldn't hesitate to use the others as well.Cons are few and minor. Only issues I had were with the on/off button becoming slippery and hard to switch once soap reaches that area while in use. I also had a battery compartment loosen and not stay on nearly 1 year later so batteries didn't make full contact and the brush no longer would run like this. After contacting the seller PNN Logistics, they were quick to take care of this by contacting SonicDerm and were pleasant during the entire process. The matter was resolved and I am a happy customer who will continue to use and recommend this product and this seller as both went the extra mile to keep me happy with their product and merchandise. Buy with confidence through them, they are running good businesses.
