MCRHLCBL25 - MICROSMITH HLCBL-25 Coaxial Eye Extension Cable for Hot Link Pro (TM) amp; Hot Link XL (TM)

I used this cable to extend the 'infra-red eye' of my HotLink Pro IR Extender. It was exactly what I needed to run from the component cabinet to the base of the fireplace mounted plasma (the default cable length provided with the HotLink Pro is about 6') and the cable was just the right mix of AWG thickness and flexibility to run it through the wall without worrying about scraping off the sheathing. Excellent price as well. A note about the company that supplied it, they accidentally dropped a different order (some decent headphones) into my box and my order into the other guys and they told both of us to just keep the items and they shipped us the proper orders, expedited, and were very apologetic about the mixup.

This extension provided the extra distance I needed. Working well.

Purchased this because I was not comfortable using a standard RCA cable through walls and under our house. Works as advertised and remote is just as responsive.

Works great, wish it was available in different length or the extra eye will have options for length and you wouldn't need an extension, but to the point,it works great.

Bought this to extend my HotlInk system and it routed the signal way too slowly, and most of the time, not at all. This was with multiple components. Ended up changing my configuration so that the Hotlink system receiving wire came out of a different place that was short enough for the original cable to reach.
