After reading many negative reviews I was skeptical about purchasing this rug. There were many horror reviews about the rug not being anything close to what was pictured or described. The one thing I didnt see were any pictures or evidence proving how bad this product was. Me being the stubborn guy that I am decided to go against common sense thinking and I ended up purchasing the rug. Let me say I couldn't have been more surprised or happy with the quality, color, softness,texture of this rug. I agree it doesn't look like the picture, I honestly think it looks better in person in my opinion. I've attached a few pictures to give an idea to those interested on what to expect. I am very pleased with this purchase and would do it again in I a heart beat. If I had to be picky and list a con the only thing I would say is its quite thin. I would recommend placing some padding underneath but other than that. Great buy!

I agree with what most positive reviewers are stating. It sheds a tiny bit as do all shag carpets but not excessively, yes you need to weigh down the edges and it does smell a bit for a few days. It's very silky and luxurious and gives a high impact for a fairly low price. The silver is beautiful; the colour varies as the nap lifts but is not metallic or cheap-looking, just lustrous. Because it's so large and HEAVY (I bought 10x14), I ordered a sample 2x3 to try it out and returned it for full refund when I ordered the correct size. Full size is even nicer than the sample. I don't think the large size needs an underpad as it doesn't slip around and is plush and the binding doesn't show on larger sizes but smaller sizes will definitely have issues on both counts. You do feel the plastic lumps that encase the tufts so 1/8" or 1/4" underpadding may help a bit if you walk barefoot on it. I suggest you wait and try it first before ordering underpadding as good ones are kind of expensive. As happy as I am with the carpet, I'm dismayed that 2 weeks later it's listed for over $150 less than I paid! I'm hoping I can get a price adjustment.

So, not what I expected. It is very thin and not comfortable at all. It is slippery and was FLAT at first. I decided to vacuum it, and this fluffed it up a little. It is very "soft" on your feet, but you feel the bottom mat, which is rough and scratchy. No cushion at all. I have it on a wood floor, so it isn't too bad, but I wish it has a little padding. It looks very pretty, especially after I vacuum it because it is fluffed up. After one day, I am starting to like it. The silver has a nice "shine" making it look "expensive" and not cheap. I am happy with this purchase, just not what I was expecting.

I didn't know that it had a pearly sheen to the fibers, and probably wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known, simply because my decor is more earthy than elegant. However, it's beautiful and that effect doesn't really show except in direct sunlight. The way the shag flares out in multiple directions is so plush and it has a wonderful pile for this price point. The ivory color is warm and and creamy and has a nice beige undertone from the shadows in the tufts of the shag. It's a true slightly warm neutral without any yellowing tone and looks good with cream and white. Best paired with warm greys, but even my cool greys coordinate fine with it.

I ordered the "Titanium" color (picture attatched): Beautiful rug! Super soft and silky to the touch. I purchased this rug for my sons bedroom and love it. I was a little scepticale about the color Before ordering it because every picture looked different. I have to say I was very pleased with this awesom color as it does look different depending the lighting. I would describe it as a mixture between dark silver tones mixed with copper tones. Looks darker in regular rooms but lighter in a sunny room. It did not smell or shed for us which was a plus because I read lots of reviews stating that the rug Shedds. Our order arrived pretty fast but I have amazon prime so that was expected. The only negative thing is that it is a thinner rug so if you're looking for a cushion type of rug then this is not it. It's thin but very soft. I wouldnt recommend vacuuming it because it would be harsh on such a delicate carpet. Maybe just a mini hand vacuum or shaking the rug out.

PROS: Beautifully made, Very soft. CONS: Color does NOT look like the photos. I got Sable and it is not Sable. It's a very dark brown. Would love to give 5-stars but the color did not match product in person.

Unique and beautiful! I ordered the Brown (6x9) and the color is very rich and has a vintage feel. This rug could have been in a1960s Gucci magazine ad. Its absolutely gorgeous!

I just got this rug this morning and I'm thrilled! It is exactly as I expected. I was looking for a rug that would fit my rustic contemporary feel but would also make my living area feel cozy. It looks very high end, is very soft, and only very minimal curling on the one end. I expect it will be flattened out in a few days with weight on it. I was hesitant to pick a rug that was just one color, and this one looks either brown, gray or silver depending on the light. I also ran my shark vacuum over it on the carpet setting to fluff it up and experienced no shedding, nor did it get caught up in the vacuum brush. I'm extremely pleased. Looks very high end, and a great value. I do agree with the other buyers, it isn't very thick, so I just left my old rug underneath and that thickens it up nicely and provides slip prevention.
