Precision InstrumentsC4D600F36H 3/4" Drive Torque Wrench and Breaker Bar Combo Pack

I got this to be able to replace wheels on my semi truck and tighten other high torque bolts on it. I liked it because it's made in the USA, its cheaper than the CDI/Snap-On wrench, and it disassembles into a way smaller case so I don't have to store a 4' wrench in my truck.The breaker bar attachment is a HUGE bonus and I highly recommend you get that since you shouldn't be breaking any bolts loose with a torque wrench. It's also super nice because it can be used as a shorter model or extended about a foot with the push of a button. This thing is very heavy duty and I doubt I'll ever break it. Normally the breaker bar by itself is like $90 but it's a little cheaper if you buy the combo set with the wrench.I do have two small issues but neither one deserves losing a star over. First is that the breaker bar is loose by itself, no case. I thought maybe with the combo that it would be a bigger case with room for it but no, it's the normal case and a loose breaker bar. Second is the pin the removes the torque handle out of the middle bar. It's tiny and I need to use something to press it to disassemble. Not a huge deal but all the other pins are big enough to press with my finger, not sure why this one is tiny.

Works exactly as it's supposed to. Top quality tool. Also love that you don't have to zero after each use, I do anyways out of habit.

Worked great of the first set of drive tires on my customers class 8 tractor. The click is a little hard to hear but once you know what to listen for it is great. Did not get a chance to try the breaker bar part yet but it feels good and strong.

Made in the USA!I have several Precision Instruments torque wrenches. I am completely satisfied with all of them, including this one.For me, the Precision Instruments C4D600F36H 3/4" Drive Torque Wrench and Breaker Bar Combo Pack, is used to break loose and torque the lug nuts on my motorhome. These nuts are tightened to 450 ft-lbs. It is much easier to use this tool than the torque multiplier I had been using.The Precision Instruments case is also excellent. It allowed the torque wrench to survive Amazon's poor attempt at packaging. Amazon put the wrench in a thin/weak carboard box 4 times bigger then it needed to be. They added one strip of packing paper to "cushion" shipping shocks. This tool weighs about 23 pounds. It ripped the box apart. Way to go, Amazon.

Great tool for the money well built & accurate.

The split-beam design is much better than other common styles. The quality meets or exceeds all of the tool-truck brands, and at a far better price. This 3/4" wrench is huge, ideal for working on semi trucks and heavy diesel engines. Excellent choice for a professional mechanic.
