Front and rear cables were perfect length for my mountain bike setup. Installation was easy. Getting the brakes properly aligned and the right cable tension took a few tries but I got them dialed in quickly enough. Brakes are smooth and progressive. I am pleased with this brake set. Can't beat the price.Edit: I ended up buying a second set for another old bike that I wanted to modernize. Wouldn't have done that if I wasn't happy with the first.

I bought these to replace the CHEESEY disc brakes on my Mongoose Dolomite fat tire bike. Are they the best disc brakes around? No... but they are way better than the stock brakes on my bike, and now I can actually stop when riding fast or downhill. My previous brakes also made the front fork shudder when braking and these brakes have solved that problem as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the "quick adjust" feature is garbage. I couldn't get it to work at all... This was easily solved by placing a thin piece of cardboard on the spoke side of the disc when centering the brake pads. Doing this allows the clearance needed to keep the disc from rubbing when brakes are not engaged.

I love the brakes for the price. Better then stock.

They look good, fit right, work correctly, but was missing the screw that holds the brake pads in place, when I opened the package the pads were rattling around. I had to find another way to keep them in place and its not a standard bolt. They work well just keep in mind quality control might leave you hanging.

Good value, I had my doubts. It was a way retrofit from my v-brakes. Adjustment was easy and I could get there responsiveness I wanted. I did end up buying a larger rotor 203 since I'm 180lbs and needed better stopping power (simply installed 7/8" standoffs and longer bolts).I used it for a full day of downhill biking and it performed great.

I’m so happy I got this brake kit. It was easy to install and the adjustments were easy to do. The price was perfect for the whole kit.

These are good and great value

decent quality. plastic adjuster dials were broken upon arrival. still functional, but makes it awkward to adjust. rear brake cable was barely over 1m. what is insufficient links for rear brake mounting.

Entire kit is there, including extra mounting brackets so it'll fit onto any bikes mounts. Threw this onto my $250 Canadian Tire CCM bike that I converted to a FAST electric. The toolless brake adjustments are great, when I pads start to fade during a ride I can just pull over, twist the knob and be back on my way with again-strong brakes.Only problem I have now, is I'm approaching 500km with these pads and it's almost time to replace them and I have no idea the pad type or where to buy replacements, I'm afraid I'm going to need to spend another $30-40 for a whole other kit just for the pads. Almost feels like buying a new printer for the ink! I hope the seller reaches out to me and offers me a nice bulk supply of pads, since I'll easily be going through 5-8 sets a season ;)

I have installed the back brake and been using it for about a month. Everything seems great. I replaced the rotor and calipers and it all bolted straight on and worked perfectly from the start. I've been looking at name brand brakes and they are so expensive. Honestly, I can't see the value unless you're a pro.I'll see how well the pads wear but apparently they are a standard size so if they wear out quickly, I can replace them with brand name pads.

Wouldn't rate these under four stars for this price. That being said, the levers are flimsy, I much prefer the Avid Speed Dial levers... which are the price of this entire kit!Other than that, my frame uses flat-mount and I could not install these on it. I own Avid BB7's and they are superior in construction and quality, but again, for the price this will get you going, especially if you do winter cycling and want something you can replace in a few years after wear.

Was a super great buy for me not only did I receive them early and what I paid for but was perfectly packaged in a box with individual wrapping came with everything I installed the system on my fat tire bike and first time was perfect ride I recommend anyone to buy this kit and I may need to buy this kid again in the future thank you so much

I have only one minor gripe with these brakes. For what they cost, they are great, and installation is a piece of cake. Setup is easy, and the stopping power is almost as good as decent hydraulics. But for what you pay, still happy. The only issue I had when installing the brakes is the rear cable is just a tad too short for my commuter bike. I ended up ordering a 1.7M cable/housing to go to the rear brake because the supplied cable (around 1.4M) just barely makes it. Other than that, very happy with them.
