Callaway Pro Caddie Premium Golf Ball Shagger or Feeder,Black

I've been in the market for a ball shagger for a while now and finally pulled the trigger on this one which seems to represent somewhat of a new take on an old product. A little about me - I'm a fairly obsessive golfer in a northern climate that tries to get out as much as possible when the weather is nice. This means going to the range 2-3x/week and playing 9-27 holes/week. Previously at the range I would hit 50+ balls then spend 30 minutes to an hour on the putting green and chipping. Previously this meant pulling 5-10 balls from my bag, hitting them, then chasing them down and manually picking them up or whacking them back towards where my bag was perched. Now I'm able to hit 30+ shots at a time from the same location without so much as pushing a lever on my new ball shagger.Pros -- Able to hit 30+ shots at a time from the same spot, more time spent hitting shots and less time chasing golf balls- No more bending over when retrieving balls- Seems like it's built to last, the legs and ball release mechanism feel solid- Small footprint, skinny, and will fit in the smallest of trunksCons -- I'm above average height, 6'2", yet I still feel like I have to bend my elbow a bit when I'm carrying this thing around to keep it from dragging on the ground. Perhaps in future iterations they make it wide enough to hold 2 balls in the width dimension but a little shorter as long as it doesn't affect stability.- Can be loud in the trunk if it's not absolutely filled and there's some room for golf balls to roll around.Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and enjoy going to the range even more than previous.

I’m a beginner golfer and love to practice hitting whiffle balls in my backyard. The shagger has been a time and back saver!! It can fit 35/36 whiffle balls on grass, I use both white and the yellow and black kind.

First off i have to admit that everytime i take this out to the course or range many people ask me what it is or where can they get one... Which gives you a good sense of pride and make it a smart buy... Which overall this product is great... Its an all in one, ball picker upper, ball holder and also a ball setter... This is fairly easy to use and very good durability... Dont let the minor flaws effect your purchase decision because the overall product makes up for it and its just minor things you learn to deal with... The first flaw is the capacity or quantity of balls this can hold, i would say around 25-30... Which for some people is too little... Second would be the picker upper part, at times you may find it difficult for balls to be picked up by this product but a little force for the balls to go in will get the job done... Third would be the button to release a ball, sometimes it gets stuck or a couple of taps may be needed (if you need to release or take out all the balls at once get ready to push the release button several times cause thats the only way tonget them out... And lastly is only actual golf balls can be used with this product certain really soft practice balls are unable to be used with this... But like i said before its just small minor flaws, but my recommendation is buy this and get ready to be asked about it on the course... You will be callaways spokesperson when you start using this and people ask you about it lol...

I love the idea of this ball shagger. It works well, very rarely when dispensing the balls you might have to tip them to feed right again. But that's the only minimal complaint. Otherwise everything else worked perfectly. It's a great way to chip 40 balls and go putt them and shag them up and do it again!! It's efficient.

I use this product when I go out into the yard to chip balls or hit them into a net.

The idea is great, in use not so good. Sticks often, either no ball or a bunch of balls. I tried to lubricate the mechanism and it is better but not as advertised. The pickup system works well though. I use it in my yard I would not take it to the golf course.I do not recommend.

Absolutely convenient and works great for simulator training or back yard chipping! Picks balls up, folds up very nicely, holds 36* balls / button press is super easy. Maybe one of my best golf buys all year! A+

If you get ANY grass inside of it (very likely since it’s designed to pick up balls) then the release mechanism gets jammed and all balls get released at once. I took it apart, cleaned, sanded down a part that was rubbing, and then after first use it was out of service again. ONLY FOR INDOOR USE
