Just as Expected
Originality, quality, creativity and innovation is what you'll find in any of the Anjunabeats releases that come from this trio of DJs, musicians, producers and record label owners. Volumes 6 and 7 are my all-time favorites, and this album is right there with any of those two epic albums. In a sentence: They've done it once again.Previous Anjunabeats mix albums had some really epic, uplifting moments, points at which you would find yourself thinking (or even saying out loud): "Un-be-lievable!, this album is SO ridiculously good!!!...", and then they would also have some parts you would not particularly like so much and that would even make you reach for the skip button. This album, in comparison will never make you want to reach for that skip button as each and EVERY track is really good and it's superbly mixed, absolutely enjoyable from beginning to end with no skipping involved (and the repeat mode on). However, this album has fewer of those past VERY EPIC moments (remember the first time ever you heard Battery Life, Meet Me in Montauk, Irufushi, Aurora, Default, Professional Killers, Anjunabeach, Madness, Vela (Electrobios & Interplay Mix) or Air For Life?), well this album has A LOT of really good moments and peaks too (i.e Formula Rossa) but (and just in my opinion) none as EPIC, or at least they are less intense, don't get me wrong, this album is AWESOME and up there with any of those albums if not better overall and in many aspects, but there's that slight difference. The mix / transitions between tracks (with literally one or two exceptions) is MASTERFUL and absolutely seamless, harmonious, and at times completely unnoticeable, very well thought out from a technical and track selection standpoint. This trio consistently puts out the most forward thinking music; their Anjunabeats record label has become a synonym for "no fillers, just good music", and that's precisely what this album is.Tracks that really stand out?, well a lot of them, they are all good, seriously, but particularly "Formula Rossa" (named after the fastest roller coaster in the world), in my opinion one of the best tracks, if not the best, "Slow To Learn (Maor Levi Club Mix)" a vocal track that starts out as just another good track, but evolves into a track that you will really like by the time you get to the chorus, "Bipolar", "iPeople" (great track from Nitrous Oxide, but I also miss his more EPIC uplifting style from "Aurora" and so many other tracks), "Mozart" (Mat Zo is a genius), "On Our Own", "Overdrive", to name just a few, it would be too hard to pick a favorite track among these, that's how good this album is.The album effortlessly earns a solid five stars rating in each and every aspect you could review of an album. A more than worthy successor in the Anjunabeats series, in which their tradition of releasing great, original mix compilations with an awesome track selection is kept intact. As a side note, like I said Volume 6, along with Anjunabeats Volume 7 (Disc 2 first tracks) are also every bit as good as this album (with some unmatched peak uplifting moments), then volumes 5 and 8 follow, in that order. Anjunadeep 01 specifically is another gem mixed by them that I really like (which is not uplifting or progressive trance but deep and progressive hose, timeless).

Anjunabeats is a solid dance album
Anjunabeats Volume 9 is the second Anjunabeats album that I've purchased, with Volume 8 being the first. I like Volume 9 a bit better, although my preference is primarily due to the strength of the track 'Kate' by Arty. Other tracks I like include 'New Dawn' by Oliver Smith, 'Keep your Secrets' by Molly Bancroft, and 'Mozart' by Mat Zo. All of the tracks on the album are good, however. As a side note, I typically prefer tracks with no words because I listen to music while working and don't want to be distracted. The Anjunabeats compilations include both a continuous mix track as well as the individual tracks, which makes them a great value. Unfortunately, the individual tracks are just clipped versions of the mix, so you get pieces of other tracks at the beginning and end of each individual track--hence just four and not five stars. Still, Anjunabeats is a great value and definitely worth your dance-music money.

Best music purchase in years...
With a lot of Techno/Trance/House/etc. CD's, I need to warm up to them a bit before I really get into them. Listen to the CD a few times to really start to appreciate the music and the nuances of each track. Not the case here. I really like what A&B has been putting out, but this is by far my favorite yet... and that's saying something.Buy it. You won't be disappointed if you like the A&B sound and flow. If I had one bad thing to say, it's that some of the transitions are the smooth silk I'm used to hearing in other works by A&B.

Some Absolutely Outstanding Tracks
This is the best Anjunabeats compilation in some time because of the quality of the track selection. The flow in this compilation probably isn't as good as the flow from Anjunabeats 7 and 8, however, the quality of the tracks here are simply astonishing. To me, some of the standouts in this compilation are:Above & Beyond - Formula RossaNorin & Rad - BloomMat Zo & Arty - MozartJaytech - New VibeI have this one constantly on repeat on my phone, and I couldn't be happier. Stunning compilation.

This Music = DanceForever!
I love this album. A perfect example of dance music at its finest. I keep this in my car for easy listening. Each track is written by different individuals, yet Anjunabeats has seamlessly merged each track to flow from one to another. They are ingeniously merged with like keys. Comes with two CDs.

No Filler Tracks Here!
This is definitely one of the best Anjunabeats volumes - and I have them all. This album is very well mixed and has a great progression. At this price, you get over 30 incredible tracks - you can't go wrong. I'll be listening to this one for a while.
