These Chia seeds are a great value considering they are organically grown and come in a 2.2 lb. Package. I use them primarily to make chia pudding using coconut milk, letting them soak overnight in the milk and they are ready to enjoy in the morning. Such an easy way to add fiber, iron and calcium to your diet. If you’re not familiar with chia seed texture, you’ll find that as they soak they develop a gelatinous covering giving them a “pudding” texture. The chia is tiny making them easy to ingest. If you’re looking for an easy way to add healthy fiber, protein, calcium and iron these organic chia seeds are a great value.

Chia is a staple in my home. This 1 kg/2.2lb bag is very economical as I can make pudding, smoothies and more. Chia is a complete protein, provides all 9 amino acids with no meat! It also has important minerals: calcium, magnesium, zinc and phosphorus- nutrients your bones need to stay healthy. Two tablespoons gives women 39% of your daily fiber need, too. So this is a healthy choice instead of pills and capsule supplements.

My only issue is it came with a cut in the bag and the seeds were leaking all over inside the box. Otherwise it's very high quality.

My husband and and I are using these in our water. We drink a glass in the morning. I just mix up a jar and keep it in the refridgerator. The have no real flavor and they are small and jelly-like bits after soaking. Are said to help with hair growth and other health benefits.
