The material is made a little bit thin, so be very careful with it. Never put this one dishwasher. It is fragile. It is very elegant especially for drinking some cherished tea. It would make a great thank you gift or great graduation gift for someone who loves tea.

Stunning, beautiful, great form and function
I wrote a review on another one of these, we've bought several as they are just so beautiful, impeccable art reproduction, fine edging on the image (not hard like it was pasted on but a soft edge that encircles the cup), perfect size and shape, the lid is fantastic for keeping beverage warm a long while,. We absolutely love these cups! They are worth the price even if you never use the inner strainer, just a fantastic china cup with lid, a dream to sip from.
