Carriage House Products started making cheese straws and cheese pecan biscuits in Farmville, VA in 1996. Our recipe originates in Martinsville VA with a man named Stewart Miller. He was a terrific gourmet cook and always had his cheese straws on hand for anyone who stopped by his home, which was commonly called the Carriage House. We continue to follow the original recipe for our Traditional Cheese Straws and Pecan Biscuits, assuring you of the great homemade quality and taste of America's favorite snack foods.

Feel the burn
Has a Bite to it. First there VERY cheese flavor, that part is good. Flaky crunchy good, then you feel the burn a peppery spicy kind of burn.It is not a lot but it is there. I personally did not care for that but, the men seemed to enjoy them. Makes a good football watching snack I suppose.

Wonderful Gift
Very delicious, fresh and tasty. I got the traditional which is slightly spicy but not offensive. I just wish they were not so expensive.

Loved these
I bought these with 6 other brands of cheese straws and these were hands down my favorite. What won me over was this amazing after taste that hits your mouth, its like a burst of cheese flavor. I don't know how they do it but its great.
