Work well
The price and quality are good. It has a temperature regulator on the iron, which is very convenient.

Soldering iron
(verified purchase). I like that it came with the stand, tip cleaner, and extra tips. I used it to make my first stained glass piece in many years and it worked OK. My only complaint is that the (larger - HAHA) chisel tip is barely able to be used for stained glass (too small). The angled knife head seems to heat up more at top and bottom tips and not constant throughout - so wouldn't work for me. (If they made that size in a chisel tip , it would have been great). Also, cord is sort of stiff, would have been better is more flexible. The tips seem to tin up nicely. Although I will have to look around for a larger chisel tip, I'm not unhappy overall with the product.UPDATE: After making few suncatchers, the 3.2D tip really is not sufficient. I would like to know what tip they are using in their stained glass photo. I tried a generic 5mm chisel tip (with a 4mm hole) and it didn't fit over the ceramic heating element. I can buy a Yihua #1300 tip but paying $20 for a tip for a soldering iron that cost $42 is excessive, and I'm not sure the chisel is any bigger. Not a happy camper. If you advertise in the stained glass tool section, your product should have the needed tips for the job. Dropped my rating from 5 to 3 (the 110w unit (red) does work for other soldering jobs well). I would not recommend this product for stained glass use.UPDATE#2: Yihua customer service trying their best to make things right. They are sending a replacement for bad knife tip (which is what they use in video for stained glass). They stated their tips are proprietary so you can't use generics due to unit's thicker ceramic heating element. They claim to be in process of developing a 5mm chisel tip for stained glass use (but not ready yet). Until then, they suggest using the knife tip or small chisel tip for stained glass use. I'm raising rating to a 4/5 due to their efforts.

Works well
I already owned 3 soldering irons. I've had 2 forever, a Craftsman pistol type that will melt the North Pole when you pull the trigger (only good for big jobs), an old Radio Shack pencil type that takes forever to heat up, and anther pencil type I bought a few years ago from Amazon with an on/off button and a tiny temperature control dial. The latter worked for awhile but then the temperature dial became unreliable and cutting out.So I decided to search for yet another soldering iron. I just wanted a good, reliable iron with an on/off switch and temperature control. I use it for model railroading, mostly soldering wires to the track. This is a bit tricky because if the iron isn't the right temperature you wind up melting the plastic rail ties before the solder even melts. The temperature dial on this iron seems steady and accurate. The on/off switch is right on the grip. The tip is very fine for detailed work. There are not many extras with this kit but I was mostly looking for a good iron. It only has 1 tip; a spare would have been nice. I do like the bronze cleaning pad it came with; just one swipe knock off the carbon buildup. I've only had it a few weeks but so far am very pleased with it.Update: I forgot to mention the plug is 3 pronged (grounded). All my other irons are 2 pronged. I don't know why this had to have 3, but it's a bit inconvenient since I have and old house with a lot of 2 prong outlets. Sure, I can get an adapter but it's just an inconvenience.

Works great
I've been needing a new iron for a while and this one has all the right tips. Gets hot fast instead of having to power up and wait 5 minutes or more like my old one.

Works a bit too well!! Some details explained would have been nice!!
Everything is great! But it works too well...the tip has fused to the heating element which caused me to return the iron & get refunded. It gets too hot too quick and over a dozen times heating and cooling it causes the metal of the tip to expand and contract thus ultimately becoming pinched onto the heating element....if you have this item make sure to keep the temp down to 250*-300*C when turning on or try to not keep it up to max temps over time periods of 15min+, then it may save you from headaches and damage to your iron thus continuing usage.
