Discipleship Counseling

AMAZING resource! I went through the Steps to Freedom about 5 years ago and recently felt led to take someone else through them. I found this book before doing so and WOW, my brain hurts after reading, but in a good way. It's full of so much great, biblical, spirit-led information. As a ministry leader for a women's ministry, this is a priceless tool. I encourage any ministry leader, pastor, encourager, mentor, counselor, etc. to invest in this book.

Excellent book that just enables you to truly help others but you can't read this without it ministering to you as well!

It's a very good read, but too many editing issues. Misspelled words.

I've liked all of Neil Anderson's books :-)

I have been looking for a resource that would better equip me for a counselling ministry. While there are some good materials out there I find that Discipleship Counselling does a great job of intergrating counselling with faith and the spiritual. I love the Biblical foundation and use throughout the book. I feel better equipped to counsel people with a Biblical perspective.

Great resource book for lay ministers and professional ministers alike. I highly recommend this book and its methodology to bring about transformation in individals
