Remote programing works great if you follow the instructions that I found and noted here
FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK: I tried several ways, via reviews, posts and YouTube and was only able to enter learning mode and have the new remote confirmed. Unfortunately, it never worked after confirmation. However, IT DID WORK when I did what I have noted belowThe other instructions seem wrong (at least they were for our 2005 Dodge Ram). This is what worked for me, and you need at least one currently working remote control too…STEP UP - Grab working remote, new remote and keys and get in vehicle, close door, turn AC/heater fan speed knob to off and put on driver seat belt (these three pre-steps are just so you can hear the prompt chimes)Then INSERT the key into the Ignition and TURN the Ignition to the ON position (just before cranking) .Step 1 - PRESS and HOLD the single UNLOCK button on a working remote for more than four (4) seconds , but less than ten (10) seconds.Step 2 - While still holding the UNLOCK button, PRESS the PANIC button for one (1) second and RELEASE both buttons at the same time. A chime will sound within three (3) seconds to indicate entry into Programming Mode. NOTE: If no chime, turn key off, and start over and release the PANIC button first, then the UNLOCK button right after it.Using same working remoteStep 3 - PRESS the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on the same remote (ON THE OLD REMOTE) then RELEASE. The Vehicle will chime to indicate that it has recognized this remote.Step 4 - PRESS and RELEASE just the UNLOCK button on the SAME remote (ON THE OLD REMOTE). The Vehicle may chime to indicate successful programming of that remote. This Step MUST be done within 30 seconds of hearing the first chime in Step 2.Now grab the NEW remoteSTEP 5- Within 15 seconds of completing Step 4, PRESS the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the next remote (ON THE NEW REMOTE) to be programmed and then RELEASE. You will again hear a chime indicating that the Vehicle has recognized this remote.Step 6 - PRESS and RELEASE just the UNLOCK button on the remote ( ON THE NEW REMOTE AGAIN). The Vehicle may chime to indicate successful programming of that remote. Then turn off and remove key, unbuckle, get out and testCAVEAT: On the single button press of the UNLOCK to confirm, you may not hear the chime. I have read that you will, but on my truck, I did not. But I still proceeded anyway and all worked well. I did here the chime in Step 2 to confirm I was in program mode, as well as when I pressed both buttons in Step 3 and Step 5

Direct Replacement Fobs and Keys
Exact replacements, BUT, the keys for my 2003 Dodge Ram are chipped, so you will have to program them. The fobs I did myself with a Dorman Fob/Programmer, worked in less than a minute! Dorman model 99164. If you don't already have a working FOB, you will need the Dorman programmer. Or pay the locksmith/dealer $100.

Their instructions don't work... use Youtube
Their instructions for the Dodge Ram are incorrect. Had to go to Youtube to find correct instructions. With all the bad reviews, you'd think they'd get this corrected, as the fobs work fine once I found the correct instructions.

Remotes are black, but keys are gray
I didn't have a working remote to program the others, so had the local dealership program them for me for $60. You can get the keys' transponders programmed if you have 2 keys currently, which I luckily did have. My only issue with them, which I would've otherwise given them 5 stars for, is that the keys arrived gray, even though they're obviously black in the photos. Otherwise they're perfect.

Not quite, but close.
Great value but for my application still had to go to the dealership. The instructions did not apply to my vehicle. Remotes work great and are a great value.

Sucks
They don’t program they are trash. I got the keys cut for my truck and then went and got the remotes programmed in their non-programmable.

Can’t use
Can’t even use these fobs. Took them to the dealership to get programmed and they told me they are un programmable as they do not have a chip in them.

Worst purchase ever.
Well I bought these for my 2003 Dodge Dakota. They arrived and I got the keys cut. Then had the local dodge dealer try to program them. THEY DONT WORK. I put new batteries in and still they don’t work. Checked the transmitters in the fobs and nothing. So don’t buy these they are a total waist of money.
