I trust this brand. The taste is good and it does not smell like pet food. The price is on point since so many other brands are super overpriced these days. The thickness and texture are perfect. Easy to prepare. Perfect for chili dogs or chili mac. Like any chili the sodium count is high. I like this brand and will purchase again.

I do like this chili with beans, it's not anywhere near 'homemade' but for a premade canned chili it's quite tasty. I wasn't too spicy which is nice because I can add however much spice I want. All I had to do was open it up, empty it into a pot and stir it up while it cooks.

The only canned chili worth eating. Good price for this item about the same as market.

Right away, when I opened the can, I missed the grease that made Armour Chili what it was to me. It was a family favorite since I was a kid. Back when grease was fun. It's changed since then, and I haven't had a bowl of Armour with crackers for close to twenty years. I missed it enough to try again. I can't say this isn't a good canned chili, but the overall lunch experience was merely "reminiscent" of the original. Almost there, but not quite. It was worth a shot, and I'm not unhappy that I tried it again after all these years, but I didn't enjoy the first can, with saltines of course, because I had a certain set of expectations. The rest of the cans will make a good topping for a few different dishes I like...chili dogs and frozen enchiladas etc. Four of the six cans had very very minor dings. No creases. For the price, I'm good with the purchase. But I won't be buying more just as a topping. Consider this a neutral rating.
