I knew when I purchased this book, and it's true, that I enjoyed every word. Paul Reiser has a poetic sing songy rythm of delivery that hooks me every time. He has a passionate view, and convinces me to invest in his words. Enjoyed the book, a lot!

I downloaded this book after a snippet of it showed up in the book Safe Infant Sleep by dr. james McKenna and I’m happy i came across it. It was way funnier than i thought and the end actually made me tear up.

True data on the experience of having children. Lots of humor throughout the story. At times hilarious and other times very sweet and touching.

As a grandmother, it brings back so many memories. The experiences of parenthood are pretty much universal, so don't let inevitable horror stories stop you from taking the plunge. I read this book when I was seventeen because I was on an airplane and didn't have anything else to read. I was laughing out loud and I do not have babies, nor had I ever cared for one when I was that age. Over a decade later, my best friend just had her first baby. I bought it for her and told her that s it may or may not be funny because I was not sure if it would be true to life or what... I barely remember it. I just recall the laughter that made me look insane on the airplane. She told me that she was laughing so hard she was brought to tears while reading this book. So young or old, with or without children, the book is just funny. I can't wait to re-read it when she is finished!

Was a deal book on amazon so I picked it up. I like his humor so I had a good time reading this one.

On many of the laughs, I would be laughing so much that I coughed and/or my stomach muscles rippled. It's a fun, light-hearted read with moments of clarity and depth thrown in to anchor it. Really enjoyed it and found myself wishing I knew more men that have a Reiser-esque approach to life.

I was having some kind of post-partum anxiety or something - really stressed and worried, etc. A friend had given me this book and I began reading it each day. It was so cute and funny and something any new parent can relate to. I felt like Paul Reiser was my friend - he seems to be such a nice guy! Anyway, this light reading was a welcome change from the 100 baby care books that I was obscessing over. I was so afraid of doing something wrong! Well, my baby is doing fine and almost a year old now! And I look forward to reading this cute little book again sometime. I would also love to give it as a gift.

Ein echter Paul Reiser - kurzweilig und SEHR unterhaltsam geschrieben.Leider kam das Buch in einem sehr schlechten Zustand, aber das musste ich wohl in Kauf nehmen. Fazit: Buch super, Anbieter werde ich nach Möglichkeit nicht mehr nehmen.
