Just do it!!!
The Ford Motor Company in their great wisdom provided a space to insert an air filter, but then they never installed it at the factory..... If you got a newish Ford, check it out - on my transit van it goes behind the glove compartment. And your life changes after you install one of these, especially during CA fire seasons..... change that nasty thing a few months later and look at all the particles it caught that would otherwise have ended up in your lungs. Don't delay, get one!!!

In the US Ford decided to have the holder for a cabin filter but does not make a filter for it. Thankfully this filter fits the Transit. Fair price and works well.
