Good quality for my new bathroom remodeling where we installed a custom lien closet door with this push latch. The door is ~24” wide and 80” tall plywood; pretty heavy. This latch handles it just well. The spring is pretty strong; initially I thought to get the dual latch version but turned out unnecessary.

Easy install, works as I expected. For our use it would be better if it had a little more oophm so the door would pop off the magnet but it opens far enough to allow us to grab the door from the top to open.

OEM advises not to use these devices on damped/auto-close drawer guides but, I wanted the minimalist look of 'push to open' functionality. If your drawer guides do not have this feature, ignore this review. I could not use the suggested method of on-center mounting and also needed to overcome the force that is required to defeat the first inch (or so) of the auto-close mechanism to open the drawer. So, I mounted one on each side of every drawer (2/drawer) and adjusted them such that: 1. Pushing the drawer fully closed sets the piston latch on both devices and the auto-close of the drawer guide holds the drawer closed (magnetic latching and plate of the devices are not required !!!). Drawer reveal is the latched throw of the device (about 3/16"). 2. Subsequently, pushing the drawer fully closed releases the piston latches of both devices so that the springs overcome the drawer guide and kick the drawer open. I am satisfied with the results. The downsides are: 1. The drawer must be pushed near the center of the face to close and to open. Otherwise, the guides will bind and the devices will probably end up in opposite states. (Close them both and try again). 2. Closing force to overcome both of the device springs as well as the auto-close feature of the guides is considerable. 3: The devices must be mounted with the screws. The double-sided foam tape causes too much flexibility for the precision required to set and release the device latches at the appropriate positions. I DID use the tape on the prototype installation to figure out exactly where the devices needed to be mounted. TMI... Good luck!

Excellent product. Well packaged. This cabinet latch has a long throw which works perfect for my medicine cabinet. The big-box stores don't have anything like it.

this works, the only thing is that I have to push twice for it to open... it was a little hard to install, I needed tools. they were not too expensive and arrived fast.

Strong spring, long extension, and minimal (1/8"?) depth needed to push in. The description states that this is not suitable for use with self soft close hinges, but I strongly disagree. This works even better with soft close hinges, which help keep the cabinet door closed but in most cases won't be strong enough prevent this spring from popping the door open when pressed. These may have a harder time overcoming soft close drawer slides since they wouldn't benefit from the lever arm like on a cabinet door.

I bough a 2 pack and had the magnet piece break on both withing days of use. eve ordered a 2nd pair which im returning at his point.
