The strap seems quite sturdy. The wrist band adjustment is a bit tough to adjust, but it is definitely adjustable - I see it as a plus because it will stay secure once I got it to the right size. The strap is very comfortable. The whole product looks very durable. But I would say though, that when you are trying to work quickly (change lens, reach for your backpack, etc.) you do NEED to remove the strap from your wrist, or else it's almost impossible to do anything. I am always using it and I just feel much more comfortable knowing it's locked onto my wrist, rather than just holding it with my sweaty hands.
