Those having issues.... Read.
Okay.... I have had installed for about 6 months now. I did a TON of research on this and similar units (have also used these in my Audi's) and there are some things people should know based on the reviews I am reading.First.... Know that the only difference for the years in the units is that of the different dash bezels for different years. 2015 up has a larger cutout for the speakers....so that is the reason for year specific. Speaking of the bezel it will fit fine with some shaving to the upper left tab.... Compare it to your factory one and you will see.Second.... If you have a 2015 up with Alpine and you want the Bluetooth to work you will need to reverse the pins for the speakers from the harness on this unit (back pins to the front and front to the back). The unit (along with others of this type) are wired wrong from the factory. The Jeep Bluetooth works only off the front speakers so those of you reporting that you can't hear anything.... This is why. Reverse the pins and it will work fine.Third.... Since the 2015 up Alpine system works off the can-bus you will no longer have the ability to fade the speakers.Fourth.... Kiss your factory sub goodbye. The signal that the factory unit sends to the can-bus is not something an aftermarket stereo will replicate (not even with the PAC module). Your sub is still there.... Just much lower level. My solution was to add a powered MTX 8" and it improved even over stock.Fifth.... There is a "factory" menu as the seller describes and this unit will need some settings changed to work properly. If 2015 up Alpine you will need to access the menu and specify the "with amplifier" setting as well as turn the internal amp down to -6 db do improve the sound immensely. The settings for rear view can be maintained here as well so the person upset about the rearview killing the sound.... Fix it in this menu. The unit works well and I have had no issues in 6 months but again.... I have researched a lot on these type of units. I have added a rear cam, front cam, sub, etc.... All working great. Anyway.... Hope this review helps some.

You get what you pay for.
First, I only have had this for a week.Pros -Looks. It just looks cool.Much larger than the stock touch screenYou can download apps to do whatever you want on thereIf you want to watch movies or play games you can...I have no desire to since I don't want an accident, but you can.ConsNo instructions. It is mostly common sense, but connecting items to the wires is somewhat guesswork. They are labeled, but even after connecting, my back up cam is not working and neither is my front cam. Will play with it when I get a chance.Does not fit properly. I watched videos and they were able to get theirs to fit. Mine has big gaps. I don't mind trimming here and there, but it looks like I need to do quite a lot of trimming to get this to work.Android 9 does not support Android auto on a car radio. So no Android Auto until they update it.Made in China....as in this is super chinese. No support. No instructions. Quality is hit or miss.Bottom line is this 600 or so dollars less than the good one that has instructions, support, satellite radio, etc. So you get what you pay for. I will mess around with this some more, but i am leaning towards putting my original touchscreen in unit I win the lottery and get the good, expensive, quality one.UPDATE: had this for awhile now and the unit stopped working. Apparently I'm not the only one who has had this issue. I'm juat spending the extra money and getting a better one. First it was my rear view camera wouldnt work with it then my sirius wouldn't work with it. I'm just finished with these headaches.

Amazing upgrade
Good:. It looks great, works great, and touch sensitivity is similar to your phone, perfect. Theres 0 instructions, but the seller was very responsive and helped with the install. I can install games, apps, and movies on the radio, which is cool. Bluetooth works great for hands free. It took 4 to 5 hours to install because of no instructions but it was worth it. Definitely worth my moneyBad: you'll need to replace your dashboard and the new dashboard doesn't fit perfectly in, but that's cool. In order to get it perfectly in, you'll need to shave a section of your interior dash near the left corner above the vent. I didn't shave it. I think I'll leave it as-is, because it's not that big of a deal. Note: Make sure you use your original clips that allow the dashboard to lock into frame

Not 100% functioning in my JKU2015 CRD Diesel 2.8L
Below is the list of problems encountered after installing the head unit without doing any further troubleshooting;1. Mobile phone bluetooth connection is working but no sound for both incoming and outgoing calls.2. Base (subwoofer) sound level extremely very low.3. Support from seller suddenly stopped after initial response.4. No instructional manual. It could have been better to have connection options if other wires have been used.5. Nothing mentioned if stock bluetooth HFM (Hands Free Module) shall be used or removed. This could be the reason why mobile phone sound is not working.Due to my busy hours, I haven't done any modification yet to troubleshoot the above issues.
