Great pigments, good price.

I use these in a hobby capacity. I've never used brush pens before and thought it'd be fun to try. It's pretty cool to see the watercolor effect. I bought these because they seemed good quality for a price I'm willing to pay to try something out. I am not dissapointed.

I purchased these pens to see if the "real" brush tip made a difference in my artwork. Not so much. They are beautiful pens as all Kuretake products are, and a great value for the price. If you are hard on your nylon tipped markers, the brush may be a solution for you. However, I didn't really see a big difference either way.

I love these. I doodle every day and it’s fun to create a quick sketch and fill in with color in a very quick fashion. Sometimes I add a color and add another one on or near before first color has dried and it blends so nice.

Love these markers. Great colors and love the fine tips for small space.

Making greeting cards.

These are REAL BRUSH PENS! That means that the bristles spread apart. These are good for coloring, but the ink frequently gets dry or stops. They are not necessary for me to have, but j like to have pens like these in my collection.

I enjoy using these pens for writing kanji or hanzi characters. These are water soluble so if your page gets wet, the ink will bleed, but that is covered in the product description. Brushes are soft but I have not had any problems with spreading.

Ich bin schon Jahrzehnte ein Fan von japanischem Zeichenzubehör und komme immer wieder darauf zurück. Diese Stifte lassen sich wunderbar auftragen und das vermalen mit Wasser macht so richtig Spaß. Die Farbe löst sich ohne Ränder oder zu schnell trocknende Flächen an und die Farbverläufe sowie die durch Verdünnung entstandenen Nuancen sind farblich intensiv und so, wie ich es mir von solchen Stiften wünsche. Leider sind sie etwas teurer, die Qualität rechtfertigt den Preis aber auf jeden Fall. Wären sie günstiger, hätte ich wahrscheinlich die ganze Farbpalette ;). Mit diesem Set lässt sich obwohl es nur 6 Farben sind, einiges anfangen, denn durch die Möglichkeit der Verdünnung mit Wasser lassen sich wie bei festen Aquarellfarben viele neue Töne und Mischungen zaubern. Direkt auf Aquarellpapier aufgetragen und mit Wasser vermalt, auf nassem Untergrund oder auf eine Mischpalette aufgetragen und mit einer anderen Farbe vermischt, alles klappt gut und durch die Stiftform ist es super praktisch, schnell und einfach zum Mitnehmen. Ohne großen Aufwand direkt aquarellieren.
