Kids Explorer Kit – Premium Kids Camping Toys, Mini Binoculars, Great Birthday Gifts for Your Kids, Grandkids with Magnifying Glass, Compass, Flashlight, Sun Hat Age 3+ Years Old

All the pieces advertised were there and of very nice quality, I was super impressed. I purchased, and subsequently gifted, the red mini explorer play set to my 5 year old son as one of his presents from the Easter Bunny. He was so impressed and excited upon opening. He said to me, "Mommy tell the Easter Bunny I said Thank You." My son has special needs; he has a severe encephalopathic form of Epilepsy called Lennox Gastaut Syndrome. This causes global developmental delays, cognitive issues, physical disabilities, and lots of seizures. So we try to gift him items we think he can 1) be able to use 2) enjoy 3) learn with or from. BTW he absolutely loves this set and I love seeing the wonder in his eyes. He and his daddy plan to go "bug hunting" and "exploring" this afternoon. He is thrilled to be able to use all of the items with daddy. We are all very pleased. This is a super cool set and it's a lot of stuff for the money. My son especially loves the flashlight that he can power by squeezing it (no need for batteries), the explorer hat, and the binoculars. Thanks to Norsy Toys for having such a wonderful fun little playset that will not only foster learning and creativity in children, but also be a playset they can really enjoy. Anyone on the fence about buying I say buy it, you won't be disappointed. This set was way better than I expected for the price.

The media could not be loaded.  I enjoyed watching my God-son getting all excited with his Explorer kit. It was the little man’s birthday and I wanted to give him something that’s hands-on. A toy that he can play with when he goes out to his backyard.I immediately thought of an explorer’s kit. Looked it up on amazon and I was surprise that this one had a very good price for all the items that would come in the box.Long story short, I guess I wanted to be the first one to leave a review on this product because I want other buyer to know that quality on this toy is great! All of them, specially the hat, just great quality.Kids love these explorer kits and so did my God-son! It was priceless to see him all happy and excited opening the box and trying on the hat and the binoculars.

Some things here are great and well made: big* and little critter carriers, catching (bubble ended) tweezers, and magnifying glasses, and the bug net is cheap and small but it works.But some are odd like the 45 degree off compass, or the flashlight with a non-replaceable battery but has a manual crank (I guess when the batt is out crank is all you have, but it would be nice if you could turn it off and charge the battery manually).Guess it has a hat and backpack too so that's cool.*Watch out, pull the little blue pin out of the big carriers door and it won't hold many bugs lol.

I bought 2 of these for my twin granddaughters 3rd birthday. The only negative was it did not come with the bughouse pictured with all the other things. This was one of the reasons I did buy it. The customer service was excellent trying to make it right. The said Amazon sent out the old kits in error. They did give me a credit for the difference in price for with or without.They were great about following up too.Because of the social distancing I didn’t get a chance to see them playing but they love it.

I bought this for my sons Birthday, he just turned 5. He is obsessed with bugs. He opened it up and was giddy with excitement. It came with so many items. Flashlight which is powered squeezing the trigger button, no batteries needed, plus a head flashlight, compass, a sturdy bug home, a bug catchers, nets, and so much more. The hat is so adorable. If you kids like bugs, they will love this!

My daughter was so excited to get this. She may have been harder on some of the items like the bug catcher as the piece holding the two together lasted less than 24 hours. The compass does not seem to point north, so my recommendation is for littler kids not preschoolers. Otherwise, a great starter set for a budding bug enthusiasts!

I bought this for my 3 yo grandson who has leukemia and therefore, at this time of the treatment combined with the Covid 19, he cannot be around others. This is a great kit for him to explore without a playgroup! He is very excited to get out and start exploring.

Everything was included and my son really loves it. He looks pretty adorable in the hat too. The stuff itself is only somewhat functionable (compass doesn't really work, binoculars and magnifying glass have next to no power) but as a toy for a 3 year old it works great. And for the amount of items included it wasn't a bad deal. We've been using it for a few weeks now and the stuff hasn't fallen apart yet, so far so good.
