This light is simple and it works. It is very lightweight so if you don't want to use the included mounting screws it's easy to mount with double sided foam tape.

I ordered this light fixture as a replacement to go above my kitchen sink. I'm a single woman and don't own a drill to make holes for the screws needed to mount the fixture. I noticed the fixture was very lightweight so I decided to mount the light using Gorilla Double-Sided Mounting Tape instead of screws. It took just a few minutes to apply the tape to the fixture and it was installed. The light is ultra bright, almost too bright, but I love it. The fixture has an on/off switch making it simple to turn on and off.

It was easy to install. The light is bright. I have been leaving it on day and night with no issues.

I put 2 in a pantry I built and I wired it thru a switch.Very bright, and easy to mount.

I installed on of these (vertically) in a pantry/closet to replace a burned out fluorescent fixture. The color temperature is excellent, not too white or yellow. The fixture length is 18" with a 15" light bar. The light glows evenly along the bar and is much more effective than for the fluorescent fixture it replaced. My installation is controlled by a wall switch, but if that isn't an option, the fixture has an off/on rocker switch conveniently located at one end of the light bar (on the surface, not the butt end). The supplied screws are OK, but were too long for my purposes, simple enough to replace with shorter ones that have heads sized for the keyhole slots used to hold the light in place. Cord length is 5' with a self-restraining clip plug to go into the fixture. Of the fixtures I looked at, this one was noteworthy for the amount of light output, appearance, and price. It's well-designed and should last indefinitely. The two things that might be negatives for some are: 1) I don't think it is dimmable (since that's not in the specs) and 2) you can;t "chain" this fixture to a 2nd one (something you may find with other under cabinet light solutions). Overall, for my purposes it has proven to be an excellent choice that I can recommend.

We used this light to illuminate an 8-foot by 5-foot closet/pantry. We use ours for washer/dryer room and a pantry; and, because of a space shortage, we use the tops of the dryer and washer for working surfaces when baking. A large mixer sits atop the dryer (~29 lb KitchenAid mixer) whilst the washer surface is used as an associate work area. Both surfaces have custom cut wood placed atop each machine. We positioned the light in the center of the closet at the leading edge--just in back of the doors and to the rear of the doors frame, blocking direct eye contact with the lamp. It showers the entire closet with bright, white light--a working light that makes it easy to read copy and quickly spot various items. I used double-sided carpet tape to affix the light to the ceiling. I like overused the tape, but I peeled off a two-foot length and ran it over the light's back surface. It stuck to the drywall ceiling with the first pressed contact. Placing the switch in the On position, I ran an extension cord from the light's plug to a standard outlet to which I added a six-outlet receptacle. Leaving the light in the 'On' position, I can now turn the light on and off by way of a simple plug-in switch I added to the receptacle--the light plugs into the accessory on-off switch and works as the light's primary switch. This lamp deliver better than ample light, but a deluge of of clear, white light for a larger closet or pantry as the one described in this overview.PLEASE READRe-do Affixing Light to CeilingBelow: the carpet tape I used to affix the light to the ceiling didn't hold well. The heat from the light softened the tape's adhesive and it dropped (fortunately, the cable straps kept it from slamming to the floor). I then used some Power Grab and it has done the trick. In fact, heat actually hastens Power Grab's curing. All is well and the light is working and holding as expected.

The area around my sink was dim. I added this easy to install light and now, it's so lit!!!

I liked how easy it was to install, once I bought shorter screws. The longer ones that came with it would have damaged the interior of the cabinet it was screwed to. It would be nice if a set of both long and short screws were included, providing for different types of cabinets. The switch is small enough to not be obstructive and it lights my entire section of counter. Well done!
