Fun B movie. Lots of nudity.

At the time of its release in 1973 "Blue Summer" would have been rated "X." It follows Tracy (Darcey Hollingsworth) and Gene (Bo White), two horny young men fresh out of high school, on their odyssey to seduce as many sexy young women as they can. For this they enlist Tracy's family's clunky Dodge van, that Tracy has labeled "The Meat Wagon." Along the way they assist a motorcycle dude, who becomes their guardian angel when they are in trouble with angry thugs. Bo White and Robert Joel, who has a small role in this film will go on to star in "A Very Natural Thing" (1974). Darcey Hollingsworth will continue with his own career in adult films, better known as Davey Jones. The film has interest to the 1970s enthusiast, who doesn't mind bawdiness.

Waited 4 months for this movie and this is what I got. Tried it on two laptops a blue ray player and even a HDD player. Same thing. Package and disc say region free. Do not know what region that they are talking about. Even tried decoding software but no go. Will try to return.

Very good copy. Vintage classic.

This film is classic 70's Grindhouse Cinema. The acting is credible and it reminds all of us when life was simple, carefree and worthwhile.

Typical 70s drive in movie about 2 guys and their road trip of getting laid!

2 kids finishing high school go on a trip in their van to get one last fling before college.they show they are not college material by being tken advantage of by every hitchhiker and person they meet.Lots of sex with ugly women and poor photography.the first sex scene takes place at night and has blue all over the scene and part of the characters,amatteur photography.Did i mention ugly women
