There is a reason that this ink is talked about so much
Yama-budo is one of those inks that nobody ever has anything bad to say. It flows great and the color is awesome. Bottle and box were both in good condition with no leaks or damage.

Tsutsuji / Azalea (Dark Pink) - One of the Prettiest Colors in this Ink
The Tsutsuji / Azalea (Dark Pink), along with the famous near-universally loved Kon Peki blue, were the two best stunners in the six colors in this Pilot Iroshizuku range I've bought so far.The Tsutsuji is a dark, jewel-like pink that stands out on the page.I was thinking it might be too light and without enough contrast, but while not exactly day glo, it's in the neighborhood of the "hot pink" I was hoping for for certain uses, and I'm very pleased with it in person. One thing to note about all the Pilot Iroshizuku inks is that they're lubricated, which means they help with the inner workings of fountain pens, especially valuable if you have one with a piston mechanism like on my Omas Parago in the famous Arco finish.I was very happy with most all of my previous Noodler's inks, but the only ones that are lubricated are in the Eel and Polar series, which doesn't offer the widest array of colors. The Pilot Iroshizuku series fills that void for me, and is quit similar (for instance the Pilot Yama Budo is a good equivalent to Noodler's Cactus Fruit, though that too is one of Noodler's lubricated Eel series inks, so either one.The Pilot Iroshizuku bottle is also gorgeous, like a perfume bottle, and intelligently has a thick glass base with an indentation in the bottom like an upside-down teardrop, so you can still fill your pen in this indentation even when there's only a little ink left.If you want a "hot pink" that's easily legible (even for my 60 year old eyes), this is a beauty.Of all the Iroshizuku inks I can see myself buying the Kon Peki blue and the Tsutsuji dark pink over and over, while others have more limited value for me.Noodler's turquoise inks (one is in the Eel series, the other isn't) are also real keepers, and near equivalents to the Tsutsuji Kon Peki blue.Highly recommended.

The color is absolutely gorgeous.
The color looks amazing and I would keep it just for how itlooks in the bottle on my desk.So spirit uplifting.Handling this glass jar in my hand feels so special, I feel connected to all the people wholike me love fountain pens and used it for centuries. The color is really fabulous and even if you don't need it, buy it for the warmth itbrings into your soul on a rainy days without sun.Keep it on your desk and just hold it from time to time, tilt it and watch the colorlife to radiate into your spirit.Magic. Pure magic.I bought extra pen just for this color so I don't have to swap colors and wash thenib to keep the purity of the color.

GoRGeOUs ink color
I really love the color of this bottled ink ... it's GoRGEoUS!!! It's a nice "wet" ink -- I loaded it in several of my fountain pens, and love how it gives off beautiful magenta/hot pink hues depending on the nib and pen I'm using. On the EF's of course it was drier, but over all makes for a pleasant writing experience and exactly the color I was hoping it would be!!!I took a star off because my bottle arrived with a crack in the lid, so some of the ink had spilled all over the box and of course was all over the bottle. It didn't even come bubble wrapped -- which by the way, if you're mailing bottled ink, you should at least protect it because you know it's not going to be handled gently. When I contacted Amazon to try and get a replacement since I lost quite a bit of ink, they said I'd have to contact the 3rd party seller, and the only option they gave me was to return it. So even though it made me upset, I just kept it and put duct tape on the the lid hoping it'll be ok.The color of the ink really is GoRGeOUs, if you're looking for a vibrant magenta/hot pink color, you'll love this ink!!

Besides using this beautiful ink for writing in A fountain pen, I also use as painting.
I have a large collection of antique fountain pens, calligraphy pens, and many different nibs or dip pens that attach to A beautifully carved wood handle. I really love these new "Iro" colors by Pilot, I have 6 bottles so far. I enjoy how smoothly the ink flows through the pens onto various papers including Tomoe River papers. But, I also use these inks in paintings. I use very small brushes from size 1 down to size 0000. I paint jewelry designs, rendering in actual size, as well as in high quality artistic coloring books. I enjoy mixing art mediums when I am hoping to create a certain feeling and overall look. I plan to keep buying more colors of these special Iro Pilot made Japanese colors.

Colors is Accurate on My Monitor and It’s Fabulous Ink
My title pretty much says it all. I use antique and vintage flex nib fountain pens and these inks are incredible. I used a MacBook Pro and my monitor displays the colors very accurately. I am an artist (oil painting) with a university degree in interior architecture and design and I am VERY particular about color, so I’m serious when I say that it is accurate to what I see on my monitor. The ink flows beautifully. When I first began using pens, I bought some $10 inks and soon after, I tried one of these ink colors and it made my pen feel like an entirely different, and superior, pen!!!I wish that Pilot Iroshizuku inks had a yellow ink so that I could mix a wider array of my own custom colors. For the care of my pens, I prefer to stay with one ink manufacture per pen, so this may lead me in another direction just so that I can mix my own ink colors. Obviously, it helps to have primary colors in order to mix a much wider variety of colors. I do mix some of their colors with good results but I really need yellow to broaden my ‘palette’. If anyone knows of another wonderful ink manufacture that includes yellow in their realm of colors (I do not like Pelikan inks), then kindly please make a comment to my review. Thank you!!!
