I've been using the Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing envelopes of the mix ever since I was a little boy! This is the same salad dressing that my mother would always put on our salads for dinner. It tastes just as good now as it did then and I hope they keep making this without changing their ingredients or flavor! It seems that a lot of companies change the recipe of a legacy product that completely ruins the taste, for whatever reason, it just goes downhill and is terrible. That is NOT the case with Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing! I highly recommend this salad dressing to anyone looking for a bold, zesty flavor that is sure to wake up every salad lover's tastebuds and leave them wanting more!

I used to buy this product years ago and I loved making Italian dressing and dips with it. But this one... it just has no flavor? It's strange. I've used 3 of the packets in different recipes and it just gives... *nothing.* At least it doesn't taste bad but I can't recommend it. Update: I had the last packet in the back of my pantry leftover for months and on a whim... I decided to add it to my pot roast not expecting much but wow! I make pot roast all the time but it was the tastiest pot roast I've made in a long time. In salad dressings... it tasted like nothing? but in the cooked pot roast? Delicious! Will order again just for my pot roasts!!

I prefer the regular Italian Dressing rather than the Zesty, but that's just me since I'm used to the regular.

I LOVE this stuff so much I have it on auto delivery! Funny thing is, although it makes great dressing, I have another use for it. Take 4-6 large chicken breast and shake the dry seasoning on. Be sure to get some on both sides then just throw them in the crockpot. You can even do this with frozen chicken breasts or boneless thighs. After cooking on high for 5 to however many hours shred the chicken. The liquid is absorbed and you have delicious, shredded chicken to use in soup, casseroles or chicken salad.
