Keeps AMD Phenom II CPU runnning cool
Works great in keeping the AMD cpu on my diy NAS running cool with it continuously powered on. Have not heard any fans having to run at 100% to cool off system/cpu...running very quietly.Definitely recommend for AM3+ cpu.

Note this is a 92mm fan heatsink
It's really my own fault for not reading the description more thoroughly, since I was expecting this heatsink to be using 120mm fans. I can't really take a star off since they "got me" fair and square on that but just beware. However mine also came really beat up with bent fins and sort of mashed in the box - which normally I would just say was shipping damage but the retail box inside this was pristine so I think it was just packaged this way.I ended up just bending it all back out but just kinda disappointing cause SilverStone name kinda has a good rep. This was a rush build for someone else and performance wise it works fine since the system this went in isn't particularly hot running (Ryzen 3600).

Fits AMD CPU Perfect & Cools It
This product fit my AMD processor fine. Note that it also has accessories for intel processors. It most importantly keeps the CPU at a low temperature. The device is of good quality and very easy to install.

No AM3 Bracket
Not compatible with AM3+. Does not come with Bracket for AM3+ or below. Only comes with LGA brackets. Do not buy for AM3 or below. Wasted my time and money on this because picture showed it came with brackets needed which it does not.

Magnifico!
Works on an AM3 processor, no problemShowing about 20 degrees cooler than stock fan on a 10 year old build..Great value!

Did not fit AM3 socket
I am sure this would have worked fine but even though it claims to fit AM3 sockets, the included bracket only fit the Intel socket setup. Returned.

Excellent Value
A lot of times this socket type (2011) gets done wrong, and you end up pulling out a motherboard to replace it. Not here, and the fan is effective and quiet. Well done, came with silver heat sink compound.

A stronger but noisier successor to the Cryorig M9i/a for smaller cases
This is a general review, but due to the similarities, special attention will be given to comparing this product to the Cryorig M9i/a, which is becoming harder to find (and more expensive) in the US.The heatsink: It's a smallish tower cooler comparable to the Cryorig M9i/a, except with staggered heat pipes which should in theory help it dissipate heat a little better. Three heat pipes, solid copper base plate. About 125mm tall, so good for smaller cases, as the M9i/a was. It does not intrude on the RAM slots, so no issues with memory height, at least on the board I'm using (ASRock B450M Pro4).The fan: It's either strong or quiet, but not both at once. It's actually quite noisy at higher speeds, though it does move quite a bit of air when it's going like that. Personally I have it set to a constant 40%, which provides adequate cooling in my situation and is barely audible. If I wanted dead silent I'd have to turn it to 25-30%. It's a standard 92mm fan, so it could be replaced in the event of failure. (In contrast, the Cryorig M9i/a came with a fan which was very quiet at any speed, but was not nearly as powerful.)Mounting: Contrary to what some early articles stated, this does NOT require extra hardware to mount on AM4 boards. It clips on to the stock bracket just like many other coolers will, and faces the expected direction (blowing air towards the I/O ports, out the back of the case) unlike some other tower coolers. Loosen the brackets a bit first and installation is relatively easy.Thermal grease: I did not use the included compound, so can't comment on its effectiveness. It's a small tube labeled with the Silverstone brand but no particular product name for the compound itself.Performance compared to stock AMD Wraith Stealth: Dropped 20C off my load temperatures, 5C off my idle, and is significantly quieter as long as the fan doesn't ramp up too high.Overall: More than adequate for the 65W TDP processor I'm using it on (Ryzen 3600). For this CPU, it is quiet once the right fan control curve is applied, which added a bit of hassle but the end result is acceptable. I'll be keeping it.
