Wool is amazing
I'm a bit surprised looking at the reviews that everyone doesn't love these. It's probably a fit thing. They feel soft, fit me perfectly, launder well, and look great in blue. I have other wool underwear from Woolx, Smartwool, and Merino Tech, and I'd rate these up with the Woolx, which are my all time favorites (boxers!!!). Quality material and construction (flat stitching and quality waistband. Wool underwear is not for everybody, it's expensive, and it will not last as long as synthetics. That said, nothing performs better for keeping everybody happy down there (pardon my subtle expression but this is Amazon). Not too hot when it's warm, perfectly warm when it's cold, and excellent moisture control when climbing hills.

Great fit and wool too!
The Meriwool boxers are a super fit if you like your skivvies snug to keep the package in one place all day. The wool is light and smooth with no itch. Mine have been quite durable but I do a gentle wash and hang dry them. I think if you do a regular wash and the dryer your results may vary.

Very comfortable, they don't last very long
This is the only underwear I've worn for the last 3 years consistently. I've tried others and these are the best but they start to wear out after 6 months or so

A lifetime of searching, these are the best and most comfortable underpants
Unfortunately, these are not available in my size at the moment.Hopefully, they're not discontinued!!You simply can't beat Marino wool - not cotton, not any blend, not any synthetic, not even silk can match the blend of durability, comfort, temperature regulation, moisture control, quick drying, ease of washing, and long-term odor control for extended hikes / camping, etc.I have heard every argument, tried every other type of fiber. High end synthetics match or exceed in some areas, but fabric treatments and other such trickery eventually wears off. Marino wool starts, continues, and stays as good as the day you got it, until it literally wears to the point that it falls off your body. The stuff is relatively expensive on a per pair basis. Just hand wash with something like Woolite when necessary, hang dry and they'll last a very long time.

Save yourself!
I got these in preparation to walk the Camino de Santiago from Seville. I received and trained with them for a few weeks before I set off to Spain. There was a deformity in the elastic band that caused it to crease in the center and fold inwards as I wore them. A little inconvenient but otherwise harmless. They had and always did a very good job of wicking moisture and not collecting any scent even when I wore them for weeks. Yet, within two weeks of my trip they began to fall apart. What started as a dime sized hole grew to the size of a tennis ball within a matter of days. Part of the preparation for thru hiking is packing light, using dependable and versatile gear that can accommodate a variety of circumstances. I was essentially in the middle of nowhere as I dealt with issues I am describing above and had little recourse otherwise. The hole caused intense chafing that was unavoidable as I had to walk upwards of 10 miles daily to get from stop to stop. What was already a difficult trip had been compounded by the default of this product. I’ve returned them, I’ve received my refund, but I can not receive any retribution for my experience with this product. I trusted in this brand, I depended on this product, and I dealt with significant and quite literal pain for doing so. I strongly do not recommend these.

Comfortable merino wool
These underwear are very comfortable. I purchased for an extended hike, to be able to easily hand wash and dry quickly. They fit true to size.

Only lasted 7 months
I really liked these a lot. They were very very comfortable. I bought three pairs of these in February, and all three have disintegrated in the crotch area. A big part of me wants to order another couple pairs because I like the feel of them, but the practical side of me knows that I have other underwear that are just as comfortable that have lasted way longer.

Great camp garment
- The naturally anti-microbial properties of merino wool make these great for camping trips where pack size is key.- They are comfortable, not scratchy, and ward off stink well enough that you can get a few wears in between washes.- I find the waistband does run a little large - which became a pleasant surprise as there was no uncomfortable elastic tightness around waist.

Very comfortable.
Always dubious about sizing on line but bought large. I’m an extra large (or more commonly known as fat) but they fit well.
