Incredibly frustrating book
One can easily show that this book assumes that all steps are trivial and easy to show and easily assumes that the reader will be satisfied with an encyclopedic listing of equations rather than derivations. It's not hard to find that this book needs to be supplemented with various other books if you aren't willing to just take the authors word for every equation. It's straightforward to see that this book would be a lot better if the author would realize that these derivations are none of the below:1. Easy to see2. Straightforward to show3. Not hard to findThe author does a decent job at actually listing out the equations of numerical relativity in a logical enough order, but I'm not sure I saw a single derivation in this entire book.

Great
I'm only an undergrad, who has learned some GR from various books. The review of GR in this book is fantastic! Much clearer than many other books, I don't like his notation for the ADM 3+1 Formalism, but he also explains that very clear and concise. I haven't got past chapter 2 yet, but so far its great!
