The picture doesn't do this shade justice. It is finely crafted and beautiful in its stitching. We have it hanging over a round dinette in our kitchen. With the spider fitting, we are able to change our light fixture's shade depending on what we want for season or color or style. This shade came packaged very well and there was no damage to the shipping box. You will not be disappointed in this shade. It is one of Lamps Plus' bestsellers and I would agree with that statement. I would love it if it came with options for the color of stitching; I would probably buy an additional shade in another color just to be able to switch them around.

These lamp shades are just beautiful! I purchased two of them to put on lamps in my bedroom that used to have red shades. The difference a larger shade in a lighter color makes is just remarkable. The room is brighter, feels bigger, and has kept the elegant look I love. The shades came quickly (within 3 days of ordering), each packaged in its own box and in perfect condition. The embroidery pattern lines have different widths which is a little hard to see in the picture, but they really adds character. An upscale piece for a very affordable price.

I selected this lamp shade to complete two mid-century lamps that I recently purchased.The quality of the shades (I purchased two) is exactly as expected; the style complements the lamps perfectly. The shades themselves get five stars for quality, style and price. I am very happy with the completed look of my lamps.The three star rating is for the company itself. The lamp shades are offered with free harps but, upon arrival, no harps. Initially I sent an email to them about the omission and when a response wasn't received in what I considered a reasonable time, I called them directly. I was told that the harps should have been shipped with the shades and to double check the box. No kidding. Of course I thoroughly checked the box; it's just a box with two lamp shades in it. That's why I called.The customer serv rep then assured me that they would send two harps. Unfortunately, this meant an additional week without being able to assemble the lamps while I waited for the harps to arrive.Overall, the shades are great---great look for a great price. However, dealing with this company does require a certain amount of patience and perseverance.

The shade fits my lamp and looks good but the color is a little lighter than in the picture.

My lampshade arrived yesterday (within the scheduled delivery window). It is even nicer than the picture portrays. It is sturdy and very well constructed - probably the best quality lampshade I have ever purchased. I think that lampshades are extremely over-priced, but not this one. I did not expect such a well-made product for the price, and was pleasantly surprised. The packaging was also more than expected - I don't think they could have possibly done more to protect the shade. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

It is difficult to speculate on an item's quality from simply glancing at an online photo. After ordering the hourglass lamp shades for our bedroom, I expected middle of the road quality and a slightly above average look for the money spent. I am happy to report that I was off on both accounts. This is an extremely well made and presentable piece. The packaging is nearly as impressive as the product itself. If you are looking to give lamps in any room a new look, then you absolutely will not go wrong with this product.

The shades came in separate boxes but arrived at the same time. I ordered on May 13 and received on May 23. Color and design are exactly as described verbally and visually. I am very pleased with these shades. I wish they came in a larger size. I would have loved them for my floor lamps. But this size is perfect for my table lamps, which were given to me. After cleaning up and rewiring the lamps, I chose these lamp shades. They are perfect! Now my lamps are sporting a mid-century, retro look with a splash of contemporary.
