Christmas Market Chocolate Advent Calendar (Countdown to Christmas)

A great gift for my grandkids anticipating Christmas

My son loved this. Each day had a piece of the classic Christmas story printed on the flap. The chocolate was good, too.

What a fun way to count down to Christmas Day! I read a prayer daily and end prayer time with a treat from the calendar. Just a small chocolate treat daily.

We were disappointed in this years advent calendar. The chocolates fell and broke -when you opened each day there was no chocolate behind the flap.Also , red dye #40 was an ingredient- my grandson goes a little nuts after consuming these chemicals.I won’t purchase anymore. .

Ordered one for each grandchild. They loved opening them each day and eating the chocolate!

It is beautiful, and to think the calendar came with chocolates inside is a bonus. I defy anyone to find one like this for the price I paid. VERY giftable! Will order a couple next year, too.

I ordered these very nice Advent calendars from.Vermont Christmas Co. via Amazon on a Thursday afternoon, app..3 pm. They were delivered to my house the next morning at 5:00 am! Fastest delivery ever - and the Grandkids live the calendars!

I found that my lady had never had an advent calendar as a kid so I picked this up as a Christmas surprise for her. This was the cardboard type I remember getting as a kid from my Aunt and always though it was fun to tear it open after anticipating it for the day before. Good fun. This one had some issue though. One that will likely be for any who purchase it is that they colors used on some of the dates blends into the picture in the background making it hard to find the dates because they are not in order. Not a huge deal but its something. The bigger issues were that 1. 90% of the chocolates had the fat migration, or the white chalking look that I understand to be from being older. Not that its harmful, just makes me wonder how many years back these were made. 2. 98% of my chocolates so far (on day 14 now) have been melted. So I am not sure where this was stored, but it didn't heat up and melt during shipping to me because I got it in colder late November. 3. At least half of the chocolates were not in their space under the covered areas. I am not sure if there was supposed to be glue between each section and it broke free or if there wasn't any but in either case the cardboard has flexed up enough to let the chocolates slip passed and settle at the bottom.
