Beef seasoning AWESOME on pork...
I've been using these three rubs for around two years now: Beef Rub, All-Purpose Rub, and Chicken Rub. I really like the Beef Rub, especially when use it on pork. The All-Purpose Rub, it's kinda like the Beef Rub but dialed back a bit in flavor. And the Chicken Rub, it's got that milder thing going on, but it's sort of in the same flavor ballpark. These days, I mostly go for the Beef Rub and All-Purpose Rub because the Chicken Rub is pretty much like the other two...if I'm in the mood for something less intense, I lean towards the All-Purpose Rub. I mentioned in an earlier review that I wasn't totally sold on the Beef Rub for briskets. It felt like it was missing that salty punch I usually want in a brisket rub. But, I still use it every now and then, and found some guests who prefer it over the 60/40 salt and pepper brisket rub I normally do because it wasn't as salty. On my last order, I noticed the new flavors and decided to try out the Umami Flavor Bomb. I used it as a rub for roasted pork belly, and boy, was that was delicious. It's got a subtle sweetness and just the right amount of saltiness without the other flavors being complementary without being too noticeable (like the celerey seed flavor on the beef rub). Original Review from July 2021: I bought the beef seasoning to try on a brisket but ended up not liking it. I decided to try it on a roasted pork loin one day and it came out amazing! Every pork application I've used it on (roast pork loin, pork butt, ribs, and pork chops) it's been absolutely delicious.

It's a very good rub suitable for practically anything you can smoke.
It's very tangy fresh off the smoker, but tends to blend in better and smooth out once your food has cooled off in the fridge a couple of days. Not sure why that is, but that has been my experience. If you plan to eat everything as soon as it comes off the smoker, don't slather it on super thick. If you plan to have leftovers, lay it on thick on the ones you want to keep for later. It's no exceedingly sweet nor exceptionally salty. Lots of flavor.

Favorite Seasoning
We can not get enough of this seasoning. We use it all the time when we are going to use our smoker. It does have some kick to it. So if you like a little spice go for this next time.
