I have read the whole series and originally skipped around as each is basically self containe&d. However I then went back and read them again, but in order, and realized I had missed a few little hints that made the following stories and characters come together nicely.This story has strong characters, a great storyline and of course a HEA! Cleverly done!

I love these stories! Each one is unique and this one was a great call back into the conflict with the Araak... I think I spelled that right? Well either way it was a great read and I love their relationship! One of the reasons S.J Sanders is one of my favorite authors!

I knew this book was going to be so freaking worth the read and I was not disappointed!!!! This was full of adventure and poor Jenn has to go through a bit more before she is done with what she set out to do for those poor women she left behind . I really enjoyed the interaction with Eyuul and Jenny and let me tell you that I cried and cried and cried in the later chapters but you hear from me when exactly. Read this series its phenomenal. Thus book opens a whole new level of the series. Loved it

This story had a lot of elements that set it apart my opinion! Give it a read and see if you agree.

Please never use “v*final folds” during a smexy scene again, when I tell you it killed the mood, I mean it KILLED it 😂. Other than that 10/10

The Agraak are working up to a bad ending and Jenn finally got the right male for her. I hope that other soldier finds his lost sister.

I love SJ Sanders mate index series is my favorite! I’m looking into getting her other series as she is such a great writer and brings you in to her worlds she creates. And the Vori I love them wouldn’t mind having one of them for my own ;) I would definitely suggest this series to any of my friends who read Romance! So get her books!! You won’t regret it!!

I love all her books, if you haven’t tried them yet you are missing out. Best read in order. Also try her other books they are just as good

S. J delivers as usual. Story is excellent, and the plot had enough twists to keep me reading the whole story in one sitting! Eagerly awaiting next book!!

The characters were good and the storyline wasn’t bad. There were just a few plot holes that I didn’t like.**Spoilers**For example, they say that all the human women will all be forcibly taken away from the bad aliens (sorry can’t remember the name of their race) but what about the children of those women? Also there was no mention of compensation - what the heck? These women have suffered for years and many were killed and no one is going to recognise or pay for that? They’ll go back to earth traumatised to live in poverty, they’ll have no jobs, probably no homes, and be struggling with PTSD. That’s not justice.The man who hurt the heroine evidently gets off scott free.

Eyuul gave his body to a female who he thought would mate him. When she leaves him unmated he is called home, disgraced and the butt of viscious rumour. Jenn has spent years as a slave breeder and has been listed for termination. A friendly guard helps her escape and she heads off on a quest to get freedom for the rest of the enslaved female breeders.This is a sweet romance with a dark undertone. Earth government is greedy and unscrupulous, hardened aliens prove surprisingly softhearted and Jenn's abuse gives her the courage to fight for good in her life and others. So many potentials for future stories! Well written.
