No tarnish, no peeling, still shining. I wash it by hand with very warm water and dishwashing liquid.Initial purchase, 2019:This is the first time that I purchased jewelry that is not sold gold. I actually ordered another chain listed as sterling silver covered in 14 karat gold and I decided to keep the chain from "Lifetime". When placed next to my "solid gold" jewelry, it stands up in appearance and texture. I decided to try this chain to wear with a 14 karat solid gold jade pendant because all of my "solid gold" chains are 4mm or thicker and too larger for the pendant. The 2mm chain from Liftime Jewelry looks wonderful! (photos attached). I will update this review to address durability overtime but for now, I highly recommend this necklace as I plan to purchase additional lengths from Lifetime Jewelry.

I am MORE than satisfied with my 16" rope necklace in gold tone. It has a nice weight to it, very shiny, and absolutely looks like real gold... at least real enough! Especially for the price. I was actually presently surprised when I opened the package. I have only had it for 2 months, so we shall see how it lasts. But remember, anything not precious metal should NOT be showered in and you should avoid perfumes/chemicals on it.

the chain is really pretty...but really short....like an inch shorter than my other 16" chains, I think a 14" would literally choke me...Update: This seller has fantastic customer service. I contacted them about the length of the chain (it was 15" measured on a ruler fyi) and they helped me find a more acceptable length, i now have an 17" inch chain that is as beautiful as the other one and is not choking me. This is advertised as 18" chain, btw, so order accordingly.

I originally purchase this chain in 2020. It has broken numerous times. The first time it broke, I had to send the broken chain back to the company, and they sent a replacement. Every time after that, I was just required to send a picture, and they would send a replacement. The picture I'm sharing in this review is the most recent breaking of the chain. I'm not even going to bother getting a replacement as the chain you could see is tarnishing, it has that fake chain smell. And honestly I'm tired of going through the same issue. I rather just get a chain that's not going to have this problem. But if you want to take the chance, the chain is decent while it lasts, and when it breaks you know that you can just keep getting a replacement from the manufacturer.

I loved that customer support aided quick when i was unable to place an exchange myself! A simple email escalated to a replacement chain within the week! These guys truly are amazing and do everything to keep their utmost given word! As for the chain. I love it, my son loves it. And I would most definitely order from them again!

Perfect chain for my 13 year old for Christmas. He absolutely loved it !Boys are rough- it ended up breaking at the clasp in late April. Contacted Customer Svc on 4/20 and had a new replacement on 4/23. Unheard of!Superior customer service !! I will definitely do business with these guys again , hands down.Thank you :)
