3M 39045 Headlight Renewal Kit with Protectant vs. Quixx Headlight Restoration Kit + Lens Sealer
I bought both the 3M product and the Quixx products, one to use on each of my bad headlights. \Bottom line: They both did equally well. I could not tell the difference between the two after I finished. You may think your headlights are very bad but bad is a relative term. I thought mine were bad but I finished each one in 30 minutes even when I didn't use a power tool.Recommendation: If yours are 'bad' and you have a power drill, use the 3M product. If you do not have a power drill and your headlights are bad, you can use the Quixx. You may have to rub a little harder & longer but with all the time you spend going to buy a drill, you could have finished the headlights. The 3M product has great instructions. My biggest peeve is the polish and lens sealer are in plastic pouches, it will be very hard preventing them oozing out.The Quixx product instructions are only ok compared to 3M's. But everything is in re-sealable containers. Because the sanding is by hand, you have more control and can get into corners easily. I did not even tape (I had to on the 3M side with the power sander). 3M seems to count on sanding and polishing whereas Quixx uses sanding but more on a German chemical technology to restore the lens. Both worked for me and should for you, given the caveats above.

My instrument cluster likes it
I was able to remove most of the scratches from my instrument cluster and make it clean and shiny. Polisher is like a tooth paste, does the job but not perfect as it leaves haze, sealer though is excellent. You will need lots of clean cloths to wipe it out nice.I do not see how you can restore headlights with this stuff though, I think there is not enough sand paper, unless it is something minor.I also used it on piano gloss exterior panels and it did good job.Overal, for $10 bucks this is great stuff to polish fine scratches.

It works!
Clear instructions - contains all the materials needed to restore luster to my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee headlight lenses. After the first set of sanding/polishing, I noticed the surface would be clear when damp but cloudy as it dried (I had not sprayed the sealer yet) so I repeated the sanding/buffing process again. The same thing happened. So I went ahead and spread on the sealer and then the surface stayed clear and sparkled. Apparently when damp the water filled in the microscopic scratches and appeared clear until the water dries and then those scratches show up. Then when the sealer is applied, it fills up those scratches and stays there after drying, keeping the surface clear. My Jeep looks like it now has brand new headlights and for only $10 and 30 minutes of elbow grease!

head light lamp cleaner
I was disappointed. Not at all like the box shows the results will be.Not enougn sand paper for the wet sanding. The sprayer for the sealer didn't work well,I saw more results when I used whitening tooth paste to clean my head lights................ TO BE HONEST.my headlights probably had never been cleaned since the car was brand new......it IS 11 years old, and they ARE yellowed, VERY coudy and hazy.BUT....They WERE better than they were. Put painters tape around the healight before you do the sanding to protect the paint...........it worked just ok......I, myself, would not buy it again.

Works great, just be sure to put in the work!
So my 2006 Civic had been getting it's headlights cloudy for the past year and a half or so. I had tried cleaning it, and some product my girlfriend bought for her own headlights but nothing worked. If you would rub your hands on the headlight you will see it is buildup as well as part of the plastic.I bought this after watching a video on youtube of a guy using it on a car with headlights much worse than mine, they were yellow and stained and even broken. It made them pretty clear so I figured if it got his somewhat clear, mine should be even better. They give you 3 different kinds of sand paper. Make sure you wet it and the headlight and sand with the lower number sand paper first. The water on the headlight will change milky because of the stuff you are scraping off but buff it as much as possible. Repeat the same for all 3 papers. After using the polish my lights were almost crystal clear. They look as good as they did maybe a year after having my car.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
Bought this in attempt to restore my headlights. I'd say this restored them about 50 percent. The rubber block is too soft after going through a few pieces of sandpaper and water to wetsand, it is pretty much useless. I'd say just invest in the good stuff with the drill inserts.

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! And it works...
This system works, but you need to follow the instructions EXACTLY to get good results. Also use water when sanding, will prevent your sandpaper from getting clogged and worn out too fast. I did 2 headlight and have enough left to do 2 more. I did one and then took a picture, I'll include the pictures to see how nice it worked. I don't normally do reviews but this product thoroughly impressed me. Takes about 30 minutes to an hour per headlight to do a good job depending on the size of your headlights, speed, and pressure of your strokes.
