Barton Sailcloth Quick Release Premium Nylon Weave

The strap looks great. Though nylon frays easily, the fabric separates from the band at the buckle holes. Also fabric wrinkles as comes loose. Wore a couple of times, looks unacceptable rapidly. Have other Barton watch straps different styles all of which have been great. This one, the one I received very poor product. I cannot recommend, nor would I bother to replace.

Purchased for Galaxy Watch Active 2 to class it up a little with a nice band, researched bands and landed on this company based on reviews and the look that I liked.I did enjoy the no frills packaging, band looked really nice and immediately installed with no issues, that's where the single star is earned. Unfortunately the comfort on this band is not really there for me, the inner leather lining is soft and pleasant but the outer sailcloth material is stiff and resistant to wrapping around the wrist. Maybe this is just a break in period but I didn't get that far due to the adjustment holes, for me personally it's either too tight or too loose, not a defect of the product per say but it doesnt work for me nevertheless. I wanted to make it work but the hole I was using started fraying almost immediately upon use and shortly after all the others did as well to some extent just from wearing the watch. Far less than a month's use is what you see in these photos. Returning now and just going back to the stock silicone band.

I was excited to receive this strap as sailcloth options are limited, but when I received it, it seems that whatever tool was used to punch the holes for the buckle destroyed some of the nylon material in the manufacturing process. Disappointed that QC let this out of the building. Purchase with caution. YMMV.

I've owned a few Barton straps in my day. I'm a huge fan of the canvas quick release Barton Straps. They are simple and easy to use and swap out. I wanted something special for my Seiko Monster 3rd Gen and I stumbled upon these. The sail cloth is not as pliable as the canvas but it feels very comfortable on the wrist and I appreciate the taper. There is a sheen on the Navy Blue which adds a touch of class to an otherwise basic strap. If you are looking for basic beater strap for your tool watch I recommend the Barton canvas strap... This Sailcloth is more appropriate for my Omega and Rolex. I happen to love my Seiko Monster and this strap combo gives my Tool watch the prestige it's 6r15 movement deserves. The buckle is a no nonsense brushed steel...I got no complaints whatsoever.

UPDATE: I contacted Barton directly and with in 24 hours I had an exchange on the way. Customer service was very helpful and fast to respond. Based on the customer service alone I would say Barton is a go-to company!!I really want to like this band, it has great potential. I have had this on my watch for less than 48 hours. The free loop has a sharp piece on it that scratched up my wrist, I guess where they melted it but never cleaned it up. The fibers in the free and fixed loops are fraying and look horrible with only a days use. I was wearing a T-shirt and hoodie for only part of the day so it's not like it got beat up on Carhart jacket or something. Either way, it's unwearable in it's current state. I can't have this thing digging into my buttery soft skin for hours on end.I plan on trying to smooth out the sharp edges on the free loop and trying to clean up the fraying fibers. I don't think I should need to though. There shouldn't be any sharp edges on a watch band where it contacts the skin. The fibers should not be fraying after a day of use. For 25 bucks I expected a lot more.

I've been looking for just the right strap for my Orient Mako II, and I have found it! The strap looks great by itself, and was thankfully more navy blue than the photos on the site made it out to be. It starts out fairly stiff, but after some flexing of the strap and wearing it for a couple days it has worn it nicely. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Swapped out the leather band on my timex for the nylon sailcloth. The blue matches well and makes it a little different from what most people wear around my office. The quick-release pins make it easy to put on and they seem just as sturdy. It took a while to feel broken in but as it gets there I don't even notice I'm wearing the watch until I look at it. I like it enough I'm thinking about getting a black one for a different watch.

Very nice watch band. I went with the navy blue which is very classy looking. Almost black looking when not in light. Has a little shine too it, but not aggressive. Interior fabric is comfortable. Buckle is brushed stainless which matches the watch. Price was a little high, but it is two layers with the quick release pins. Basically a nice upgrade to an old watch that I still liked.Recommended.

This is a really high quality watch strap, looks good and strong. No problems with stiffness, it just needs a couple of days to break it in. Delivered in less than a week from US!

The holes fell apart in the first week. The photo shows the strap after 21 days of ware over a few months. Just give sailcloth straps a miss, i have never heard a good thing about any of them, even hirschs robby. Just buy a good leather strap, I can highly recommend Watchgeckos straps.

Really liked this watch strap to begin with, but after a month of wearing it the fabric has already started fraying around all of the buckle holes despite taking care not to run the buckle up the strap with too much force. Disappointing, as it was a really smart looking strap to begin with but has not stayed that way.

Fantastic quality and material used for strap. Lovely unusual blue color which matched up perfectly with my Glycine diver watch. Combo looks brilliant so great purchase.
