Much Needed Feature Upgrade!
I forgot all about this sling kit. I purchased it over two years ago. It has performed as advertised with no issues. Installation was a simple swap of the detent bolt on the barrel and drilling a pilot hole in the rear stock for the swivel stud to screw into. My package also showed up sealed with no signs of rust.It may also be worth mentioning, this kit is advertised for the Mossberg 500 series shotgun. I installed it on a old Westernfield 550 series shotgun from the early 1970's. These were store branded shotguns made by Mossberg for I believe Montgomery Wards. Most if not all parts were interchangeable.

12 Guage Bolt Set Sling Swivels
Got these yesterday and installed them in less then 5 minutes on my Mossberg Maverick 88. It was a perfect fit and made of sturdy material. I gave it 4 stars because it does not come with any installation instructions but if you are mildly mechanically inclined its esay to figure out. I would recommend for anyone wanting to put a sling on a 12 guage Mossberg 500 or Maverick 88. I also got the Blackhawk shotgun sling that holds 15 12 guage rounds and was a perfect combo with the Uncle Mike's QD Sling Swivels.

Worked great on my mossberg 500 410 they have held up nicely and now I can add a sling nice product would recommend!

Perfect for Mossberg Maverick
Easy to install and has a great fit my sling.

Acceptable, after cleaning up corrosion.
The function seems ok, however the product appeared to have been stored in a wet or corrosive location by the amount of rust evident. Spent probably 30 to 45 using CLP and brass brushes to clean it up, and to free up the detent ball. So, it does function, however, plan to spend time before installing.
