Needed for wound healing. Keeps ball of foot by elevated. Sturdy, easy to place on the affected foot, does need some getting used to.

Great fit
I had a diabetic foot ulcer,and it wasn't healing very good, so my doctor told me to get me one of those shoes. They were expensive at a medical supply store, so I started looking on AMAZON until I found this one. Now it's healing well and I'm on the road to a full recovery. Thank you AMAZON
